well this series looks to be just about over What's the saying, a series doesn't start until the away team gets a win. I guess you've already forgotten about Boston winning the first two games handily at home and getting pushed to game seven both times in their first two series, huh? *shakes head*

They dont seem to want it as much as Boston does. And yet they still make late charges and come close in the end. Atlanta got assraped in their first two games too.

Defense wins championships. People always fall in love with the offensive teams, in any sport, but they rarely win in playoffs. Simple really.

If the Celtics don't win in 5 or less, I'll eat a hat.

Kobe gets a foul called every time he steps foot in the paint. That said, LA played better than Boston (WTF KG and Pierce?) and it's 2-1. At least Boston kept it to single digits so I won some cash...

I'm not saying that the refs aren't favoring the Celtics. I just think it's stupid that the star players on every team get so much special treatment. Every time Kobe or Lebron or Pierce goes into the lane and loses the ball, they flail their hands out and yell and get the call.

If you want fair, impartial officiating, you shouldn't be watching the NBA. That's all there is to it.

Stern needs to step down and someone with the strenght and aggresivness of Roger Godell needs to step in. Seriously, players who get DUIs all the time should get suspended some games. Hell, Andray Blatche got like 2 DUIs and solicited a prostitute in DC (DC prostitutes are some ufly f*ckers btw)...kid needs to be suspended.
And, as a young Laker fan in 2002, I knew that game against Sac-town had some horrible officiating but I didnt complain cuz the Lakes won. I'm startin to believe that other refs were involved since the NBA keeps dismissing Donaghy sayin he's a rouge felon who's trying to bring others down with him. Why dont the leaugue look into this issue or address it on capital hill or somethin. This is a shitty issue for the NBA and as a big NBA fan, i cant help but think that this leaugue might be rigged.

Where's Arlen Specter? Doesn't this affect the integrity of the game? Oh wait, his team wasn't affected. What a joke.
Anyways, yes, Stern looks very bad here. But he's not stepping down, he's made way too much money for this league.

There's still time for nobody to win this series!
*goes back to praying that both teams forfeit*

Congrats to the Celts on winning another title.....now KG, Ray, and Paul will finally get their rings. They deserved this win by rallying to win the game. Great comeback.
The Lakers have played like absolute shit this whole series and no one on that team can consistenly score.....not even Kobe. What happened to his killer instinct? He had like 3 points in the first half? You got to be shitting me. Odom is crap, Gasol is ok, and the Lakers bench is meh...full of young guys. Terrible showing in this series by the Lakes.

Terrible showing in this series by the Lakes. While I agree with you, this series STILL almost went back to Boston 2-2. I find that interesting...and I'm not sure why that is.

Why do they do that during the Finals but not during the playoffs.
