If I were in their situation I think I woulda taken Matt Ryan to rebuild the franchise because Josh McCown is just a QB that teams use until they can find one of their liking.

Drafting Matt Ryan would have been a terrible decision after taking John Beck in the second round last year. Had they not, then you'd have a case for Ryan being overall #1 this year, but it still wouldn't be a very strong case at that. QB might be the one of the least of their worries for right now.

Long will do wonders for the Miami offense. He'd help open lanes for Ronnie Brown and protect John Beck who has experience as an NFL starter unlike Ryan. This isnt a flashy pick by Miami but Parcells made the right move.

Its probably the right move. But LT is an overrated position. Given the way teams bltiz today the LT is not as vital as it once was.

Beck was an awful decision though. I mean they are in a tough situation, IMO I honestly don't see John Beck as more then a back-up after seeing him take some snaps last year. Yea it may be inexperienced but I just can't even imagine it. Long is a good pick when I thought about it because like Blaze said it will help Miami's running game but I am pretty sure they will be an all running offense. |

WTF I think it was a smart move so that pick wont end up like JaMarcus Russell and miss all the camps. But i'm glad St. Louis didnt get to negotiate with Long or Dorsey because a trend will occur before the draft even begins and im pretty sure Godell wants a huge audience watching...... and im hearing Dallas will draft De'Sean Jackson.....I would LOVE to have him on the team. But I wouldnt mind trading for Detroits' Roy Williams instead. |

and Bill Parcells trades for more Cowboys yet again  Dallas traded TE Antyhony Fason and LB Akin Ayodole to the Fins for a 4th round pick for tomorrow. Now I have a feeling Dallas is going to grab a linebacker like Jerod Mayo. |
