I heard something on TV the other day that I found interesting, the dude said:

God was created as a supernatural unproven force to explain the great mysteries of life before science could explain some of the them. Like:

Where did we come from? God created us in the image of himself. (we now know evolution is blame for our existence and please don't argue with me on that its a scientifically proven fact)
What happens when we die? If you're a good Christian you go to heaven everyone else goes to Hell (still have no idea on that one, but personally I think it'd be cool if the afterlife was like a create-your-own story book so you could go back and change the ending)

I mean, a break, fine. But, never again? That scares me. So I sure hope there is something.

Thats what the guy said on the TV (the stuff in brackets he said later on, save for the create-your-own story thing that was me attempting to be funny), although I do agree partly with him. I believe that Evolution is what brought us to be us and David the theory is that evolution occured for billions of years from tiny microscopic single-cell organisms into the multi-celled organism we see today. Now as for where those came from I have no idea. I think the I remember something about them stemming from the big bang but I don't really recall

That's actually something I always thought about.. If there's nothing after death, then what the **** happens? Do you disappear or what? That's been one of my main reasons of why I believed in God and Heaven.

That takes the fun away. If your a dog and get into good owners hands you have it made...eat, sleep, eat and sleep.

Everything is pretty scientifically solid back to the big bang, if someone wants to believe that a God was the catalyst for that, then it sounds good to me.

That's what I always thought.. I figured IF God and Heaven didn't exist, you'd come back as a totally new person but you wouldn't remember anything from your previous self.
