I almost saw it last nite with the gf since we went on a date and she really wanted to go...luckily, we got to the AMC theater and it was sold out for the nite time showings. However, there were a lot of women (hot ones) wearing dresses and other semi-formal attire that went to see the movie and filled up the theater. Never seen the theater so damn crowded.
Instead, we saw the Stranegrs which would end up being sold out shortly after we got out tickets. Stupid movie.

Dude, I liked the Strangers save for all the stupid black people acting like idiots. I thought the movie was repetitive and boring.....the ending was meh, and there were only a few moments that made me jump. But i loved the crowd i saw it with, everyone was screaming at the slightest sight of the strangers lol. And of course i wanted tail freak, why else would we go on a date? |

I'm going to rework this post, because it didn't get the proper message across.
This is way more a girls go to see this with their girlfriends type deal. Not a date movie at all. This is the woman equivalent of us taking a girl to see something like Battlestar Galatica or something in that vein. I don't know, I would at least make a deal with her for even being willing to see it. There is just so little of value for a guy our age, you deserve to get something. I dunno, make her watch every Cowboys game with you next year or something.
Eh, maybe it's just me, but this just screams of a movie women would enjoy a lot more with other woman then men. We're not going to comment on their outfits or care what shoes they wear. If the brunette would show the goods...that's about the only reason I would show up.

We didnt have a movie planned in our date...at all. I happened to see The Strangers earlier in the day anyways. Bein the fickle boyfriend I am, she lured me into going to the movie since we were by the theater anyways and luckily, it sold out. But i agree that this is a girl-go-with-girls movie because there was only two guys I saw purchasing tickets for the movie out of all the women that were there. One guy even had a black sex in the city t-shirt which made me lol. |

I was going to make a joke saying Parker would be starring in the next Broadway production of "My Left Foot" but I don't think anyone would get the joke.
