I just think it's funny that we have more NC's than they do in 50 years and they call themselves "Leaders and Best". I have a hard time listening to that with that particular statistic. And the fact they try and make themselves feel better by making fun of us because they can't beat OSU, aka their daddy.

Playing the National Title card isn't really working here, Spartan. And to your recruiting point, the entire Big Ten was fine with the "run up the middle for 3 yards" game plan. And it hasn't worked tremendously well for as of late. Things are changing and I truly believe those who embrace the change will do better. So if State wants to take over the mantle of predictable running team, you're more than welcome.

It's a pro style offense. Run sets up the pass. I don't know how that's predictable but okay. I mean, it did take you 4 quarters to win. If I remember right, Caulcrick bowled your team right over on one drive.

They've been better than Michigan State since the 70s? I would say for at least 40 years! If I asked the question, how many National Titles has MSU won in the last 40 years, the answer is zero. Michigan has won 1 since then. Just because you can pick a timeframe to shape your argument certainly doesn't make it valid. You're twisting the facts because you so desperately want to be Michigan, but know you never will.

Gotta disagree with you JTR. It doesn't matter what type of offense you run, if you have the right players to run it, you will be successful... and Michigan State is recruiting the right players to run a pro-style offense. (Aside from a QB... which they desperately need)

Okay, this feels wierd taking Michigan's side and all, but let me say something.

Michigan has been one of the top 2 teams in the B10 almost every year since Bo was hired.. and the fact that they still beat you and still finished second in the conference after having the opening to a season like theirs, with injuries to Chad Henne & Mike Hart, with that terrible, terrible secondary (Outside of Donovan Warren), says a lot.

I believe SB was speaking about them in a season-aspect and he's right. Neither were ever 100% healthy last year. With the way the defense played I feel we were a healthy Henne away from beating OSU.
