Allright gentleman.
6 months is this weekend. Normally, 6 months isn't that special, but we've been through quite a lot and things are really looking up for us now, and she's really excited, so I'm planning on surprising her with something.
I was thinking something like a necklace or a bracelet and then take her out for the night and maybe end in the downtown park watching the stars or something like that. or maybe 6 roses for 6 months.
Then again, I don't wanna waste any ideas for our 1 year so I have that dilemma. '
Any ideas for gifts or what to do?

this local radio dj had the best valentines/anniversary gift idea ever. basically he went around and took pictures of himself with all the things he would buy his gf if he had the money. You know like a diamond ring, and a big house, and so on.

HAHA hey man, im in the same boat, only im at 1 yer. Im getting her a ring and taking her out for dinner and such...for 6 months i took her out and bought her a bunch of small gifts, just things she would need and some flowers...she loved it!!! Just have fun!!! Yeah, I normally wouldn't do anything for months, but she is really excited about it and might as well earn a few points. Then DB's suggestion would take full effect.  But yeah I was just thinking something small, dinner, and maybe some flowers and just have a fun night in town. |

I've never ever have spent over $100 on dinner for just my wife and I... I can think of just under $80 once (and my company paid for that)... maybe $40-50 often, maybe $60... but $120? |

I don't know a girl who can cause a bill to be around $90 and apparently the rest of us don't either. Maybe Jeff's just chillin with the fatties lol they always order like salads and stuff here.. Bills are usually around $60-$70 when we have 4-5 people. The closest I think I've been to over $100 is when it was Father's Day last year and I took my dad to Outback Steakhouse and it was like $105. |

I've never been to a restaurant that I could do that for two people without ordering drinks. I mean, I guess if you order some high end appetizer, a steak/crazy entree, and then a nice dessert you could pull it off. Still for a six month, I'm not dropping that nice of a place. Maybe for the one year and each year after that sure. Maybe I don't got the money you do, because a $50 meal would devastate my bank account with gas and shit like it is now. |
