I was thinking about this and I decided that women should in fact, not be allowed to drive.
Here's my theory. Taking women off the road would do two very beneficial things. First off, they take a very dangerous element off the road, the woman driver. Secondly, taking half the population off the road means we'd use...25% less gasoline (men would have to drive more so they kids could get to school ect...so not a full 50%. I'm saying 25 to be conservative). This means, lower gas prices and less strain on American families to make ends meet.
Now you may underestimate how much of a menace the human female is behind the wheel of a car. Don't do this! The young ones don't have the attention span to not be texting and on the cell phone. They also do not have the reflexes and navigation skills to pull this feat off. They will get lost, mix their exit, and do something stupid that will cause a normal driver to wreck. Older women have to both deal with children and the fact that genetically they lack the ability to drive a car. So compound this and you understand why I have almost taken a baseball bat to numerous mini-vans. I swear the next person who gets in the turn-lane 1/4 mile from the intersection is going to get a beat-down.
So people of DC, do you agree that women shouldn't be allowed on the road?

Eh...no. Nice propaganda, though. I'm just saying, they should spend more time in the kitchen than on the road.

had a bad experience with female drivers did ya Bama That's pretty much whenever I get out on the road. It makes sense though, a car isn't an oven.

This topic should have been titled "Should Old People Allowed To Drive?" with the answer being a resounding "no".

I had to catch rides from my best friend (girl) for a month until I got my license... so happy that month went by quickly.

My Mom and Sister arent that bad of dirvers...they are just reckless. If they see a light that has been yellow for like 2 seconds and they are going 50 you better bet that the car will be up to 65 and trying to make it across. My Mom has about 7 tickets for running red lights and stop signs.
I'm only aggressive on the turnpike, I-95, and US-1. When I'm driving around town I know I can't be aggressive because there are so many tourists that drive 5-10 miles under so they can look around.

They'd fit in around here, people (and not just women, who I just wanted to be sexist against) drive like maniacs. It's more of a function of the increadable stupidity of the Baton Rouge infastructure than anything. I-12 may be the worst streatch of road I've ever been on. 6 lanes...then for three miles or so goes down to 4 before going back to 6 lanes. The problem is, it shaves a lane on the busiest streatch of the road and causes bottlenecking similar to 5 in the afternoon in a much bigger city. So yeah, that's just an example. I'm sure Jeff could talk about some over around LSU...not in that part of town often. Now the drivers just suck. Trying to get on the interstate is always fun because people won't get in the other fucking lane! I've had people speed up when they realized I was going to merge in front of them, when no one was in the left lane! Ended up having to slam on breaks and pour in behind them to avoid running off the road. It's not that they suck, they're just about the most inconsiderate group of drivers I've ran into. People in Memphis, Jackson, and all of Alabama drive better! It's the NOLA syndrome in Baton Rouge I guess though. Moral of the story: People suck and can't drive for dick.

I hate when they box me in. When your behind someone they will drive up to the car in the next lane and go the speed next to them so you can't do anything about it. Once, it got me so pissed I just went right up the shoulder and passed the guy. Thing is, there was a cop that saw me and he pulled me over. I was already on the shoulder so I just slowed down and came to a stop. He told me it was a easy pullover because I was already "over". He then said nice mover but it's going to cost you. So now when I'm in those situations I check twice before making the famous shoulder pass.

I hate the people that feel the need to get into the fast lane going 70 when the speed limit is 65... and everyone in the fast lane is going at least 80.
Another thing I hate is when someone pulls out in front of you and goes 5 under. For christ's sake, if your going to pull your ass out in front of you you better at least go the speed limit.
Sidenote: If your ever in Huntersville... you can go 15-20 over and not get pulled over. I went 70 in a 45 right past a cop and nothing happened. Couple that with what some officers have told me and I'm absolutely sure about that.
But if your in Davidson... don't even speed at all. They are in serious crackdown on speeding... a friend of mine got a ticket for going 27 in a 25.

Well Sportsbuck remember the left lane is the "passing" lane, not the fast lane. That to me means, if you aren't passing, stay out of the left lane so someone going faster can get by.
Oh and speaking of cops and stuff. I've got pulled over for what you did Clayton one time. I got out of that ticket though, because I was told to do it by a crossing guard. Yeah that was great. I've pulled it on the interstate before though, and so far so good...not a move I like to pull all that often though.
Also in the town I work in, my main route home has two different speed limits for the two lanes. Going westbound it's 50 and east it's 30. Classic small town speed trap. You just don't speed in small towns. I know people who have gotten tickets for 32 in a 30 and even 36 in a 35. Cops like that are just being dicks or have a quota. Big cities though you have to do something pretty stupid to get pulled over.
