Well, "died" is not the correct term. Rather, when I put a disc in, it makes a horrible grinding sound and then deems the disc unplayable. Problem is, it's not the disc, since I've tried about 10 games and gotten the same result with each of them.
I'm thinking it needs cleaned, any ideas?

I had the same problem with my old 360 except the tray refused to open at times.
Ended up selling it when I went to George Mason but bought a new system when I came back to Tampa.
