From a baseball standpoint, it's a good move, but not a great move.
I'd rather get an impact bat that can help you every day, than a pitcher that plays once every five days. IMO the only time you should trade for a SP is when you're either in the division lead or very close, and you just need to bolster an already solid rotation. But there's a reason why I'm here and not a GM.
