I became curious a little while ago as to if this place is still vibrant. I can't tell you how cool it is to see that it is. Anyways, I'm a little disappointed that there has been a severe lacking of "Roy Halladay for Cy Young" and "Jermaine O'Neal puts the Raptors ahead of the Celtics for 09" threads. Maybe I can contribute in that regard. On that note...hello again.

Thug life representin'.
Errr...I'm at school in Canada for chemical engineering. I'm playing Canadian university baseball (pretty much like D-1 with more steroids and wood bats). Tears make my pillow uncomfortable to sleep on cause I'm still a Jays fan.
In the words of Forrest Gump: "that....that's about it."

Chem-E huh? I'm actually working at a chemical plant as an intern type right now. Which is funny, because I still haven't decided on a major.

I'm actually at work...at a chemical plant. At an intern type thing.
The question now is...who is the real Jake?

Queen's is a hick school. McGill for life. Nice to see you back, by the way.

Queen's is a hick school. McGill for life. Nice to see you back, by the way. I have to ask where you get that opinion. Not that I'm going to start a silly "nuh-uh" war...but I'm always surprised when Americans remember there's a country to the north, let alone make a reference to a school. (And I keed on the country remembering. Chances are I leave Canada after school. I'll be a Yankee Doodle too.)

Really? You WANT to come to America? May I ask why? Also, I plan on applying to McGill. And if I end up going there, it's only rational to hate Queens. Only reason why I say it. That, and I love to be a kidder.

The company I'm at has 5 international plants...two in Canada and one in the U.S. The plan over the next 5 years is to expand into America and Europe. Europe would be cool...but if all the schooling goes well, I dunno, looks like they kind of want me to stay on board and get things going down there. Plus America is warmer. And I'm a skinny dude.
And McGill, as much as I hate to say it, is a really cool school. Probably the best all around education in Canada. I have numerous friends who are there now and love it. Mostly because Montreal is a very nice city. And plus, you can't walk down any major street without multiple "danseurs contactes" signs. Translation isn't even necessary.
And I mean really, how sexy is that?
But I like where I am so enjoy poutine and les dances au lap if you go.
