ok so my 360 broke about a month ago now and I sent it away to ms to get it fixed. Got an email last week wednesday at 12:04 am saying it had been fixed and was being shipped back. Then I received it the same day (wednesday) as I got the email. I thought it was a little weird but whatever. Then on friday I received a second console which I deduced is mine instead of the first one. Contacted Xbox help today and they said they are investigating it and will contact me in the next day or so. Weird hey?

You should try and get something out of it. Maybe some free Xbox Live or whatever the devil they do that you would need to pay for. That would be nothing for them and after it ran out, they have the chance to get you to stay on with it since you had a taste. I think you can do it.

I thought EVERYONE had the extended three year warranty no matter of location... didn't it red ring or was it something else?
Obviously MS wouldn't screw you out of money in this situation... I just thought pretty much everything was covered until at least Nov 08 unless you f'd it up yourself.

I didnt have a red ring, but had a disc reading problem and I didnt have to pay anything.
