It doesn't really matter that much to be honest, historically it has had very little significance except for maybe in 1960 when LBJ was able to deliver the South for Kennedy. However, I would like to see Joe have a Lloyd Bentsen moment. What's going to be really crazy is if Romney is the VP. You'd have:
Obama's net worth ~ 6 million
Biden's net worth ~ 100-150k
VS.
McCain's net worth ~ upwards of 100 million
Romney's net worth ~ upwards of 220 million
As if this race hasn't been framed in enough extremes already.
