Yes I know it's Wednesday. The stories of Tarvaris Jackson being seated in favor of old man and never-has-been Gus Frerotte and Damon Huard being seated in favor of..no not Croyle, Tyler Thigpen. The Thigpen move interests me, I have a feeling he could be good. As for Frerotte, he won't do any better than Jackson, if not worse. Coaching's a problem in Minnesota more than the quarterback is, you run AD as little as they do for whatever reason, they're gonna fail to win. They lost by four to the Colts, TJ has a lot to improve on but sitting him for the 97-year-old man wasn't the way to do it.

He's out for another month or so with a separated shoulder. Thigpen showed some flashes last week. He can run a bit and is more mobile than either Huard or Croyle, but has little accuracy and just needs more in-game experience. If I'm Carl Peterson, I'm on the horn with Culpepper's agent pronto. If Thigpen gets hurt, the Chiefs are screwed. Not that they aren't already, though. The sad part is, KC is 31 MILLION under the cap. MILLION. That's absurd.

Thigpen isn't looking too good and last I checked neither was Frerotte haha.
G-Men's D hasn't shown up yet but I think we'll turn it around in the second half. We gotta put more pressure on Palmer and slap him around some more. We have four sacks but there have been spots where he has way too much time.

I'm seeing good things out of Thigpen, but I don't think he's an NFL QB in the end. Not an accurate passer and is missing open receivers. Good wheels though, picked up a 3rd-and-long and got a first out of it on their TD drive to end the half.

Yeah probably would've been a great idea, but who knew that was coming? Browns start 0-3 and Ravens 2-0. I like the attitude of this team and I always love our defense, but we'll see just how for real we are next week on national tv against Pittsburgh on the road. Oh, and Ray Lewis knocked the shit out of Kellen Winslow; loved seeing that big mouth baby get layed out.
