I'm about ready to head out for the Texas State/Texas Southern game... finally get to use those season tickets 5 games into the season. Week 6 of the season - game #5 for us to catch this year (damn hurricane wrecked the 6 for 6...)

Hawks Defense holds Ringer to 92 and still loses 16-13....
Shonn Greene is the best running back in the Big Ten....Period
Except maybe Beanie...although i havent seen him play much, I have a lot of respect for him...

lol i agree....I just wish Iowa had an OC who realizes to run the ball in the red zone after taking it from 20 to 20 running it....its a shame....

I didn't get to see much of any other games today, but I enjoyed the DI-AA game I went too. Totally forgot Bobby Reid (from Okie St) is the new QB for Texas Southern - he still is very good. I also had forgotten Texas Southern is a black school = black marching band... that was AWESOME. Other than that - good old fashion shootout. I think we were on tv multiple times too - need to watch the telecast we recorded to see.
