UCONN was in the top 25 and got the shit kicked out of them by North Carolina. Things were looking good for UCONN this season until their QB broke his foot and now they're fucked. The replacement qb threw 3 picks and 0 tds against UNC. I guess they could still have an outside chance at the Big East if they keep giving the ball to Donald Brown 35-40 times a game...

Shonn Greene is the best running back in the Big Ten....Period Umm... no lol. I believe it goes Javon Ringer, Beanie, Royster, and then Greene. ;]

You could probably flip flop Wells and Ringer when they are at their best and have a legitimate argument so who knows. Not to mention you got Dufrene and PJ Hill. There is no doubt Greene (sp?) is a good back, but I'm going to need a little bit more time before I put him in the top 3.

thats fine....its too bad he was an idiot and missed all of last year....he has outgained every opponent this far easily....
But as it goes for now...for those of you who dont know much about him, heres a little bio.
Shonn is a junior and he sat out last year due to academics. He is 5'11" and 235 lbs. He is currently 3rd in the nation in Yards (2nd in the conference) and played against a tough Michigan St defense last week, gaining 157 yards on 30 carries. In comparison, Ringer had 25 carries for 95 yards. He is a power back and sent 2 MSU players out of the game last week with injuries. Not getting much press because of teams lack of ability to win ball games...lol
Too bad about having a sucky Offensive Coordinator, team could be 6-0.

If your player is good your player is good.. fuck bias. You're right that Beanie and Ringer are interchangeable, but just like with Mike Hart when he was at Michigan, there's no doubt that there's NOBODY more important to their team then Ringer is to Michigan State.

I don't often agree with Spartan, but I do here. Screw comparing him to Beanie. On an importance level, Ringer is far more important. When he's clicking, the team is clicking. What would MSU look like if he weren't in the line up? With Beanie, we've seen that, while not pretty, OSU still has enough weapons to survive without him. Quite the opposite is true with Ringer.

Has anybody not seen Glenn Coffee running the ball this year? He is for sure top 5 so far. Now as far as career then yea thats a negative, but so far this season Coffee is running hard. Also, Ingram should turn out to be a top 3 by time his Senior year...

He's having a damn good year, but I'm not willing to make that jump on him just yet.

On a talent level, one-on-one, Beanie is better. But like I said, no doubt about it that Ringer is far more important to his team.
