Blaze, did you see Texas' defensive line last week? Best front four in the country. They're playing too well for me to pick against them.

So much for that  I didnt get to see the game but Texas can easily go to the national title game if they beat Tech next week. I see Ok State dropping to the 11th ranking...they held their own today and just came up short. Hopefully they move on after this loss. And USF played like shit today. No running game meant Matt Grothe had to throw way to much. |

The UT-TT game is in Lubbock, but don't let the game against kansas fool you. Tech doesn't play much defense. They were the beneficiary of some timely turnovers, and they just overmatched their secondary.
Texas should win, and should beat Baylor, kansas, and A&M the rest of the way.

After last weeks game - I thought UT could beat anyone in the country. I've changed my mind after todays game. UT will not win the last 6... the defense is HORRIBLE and everyone else is figuring it out. The offense is horribly called - the plays are called like 90% of the people call plays in a video game - it's the same 4 plays over and over with a random wild card thrown in every now and then. There is NO running game and that will kill them in the end. I don't know if Tech's D can do enough to beat them (or if Tech's offense can slow the game enough to keep UT's offense off the field). I haven't seen Kansas enough to comment about them. Missouri could possibly beat them in a rematch. In a potential national championship - the matchup determines whether I think they win or lose. There are a couple of the potential teams I think they could beat - a couple I think would beat them.
I just don't see them stringing together another 6 in a row - I hope they can - but today's game undid everything last weeks did to convince me about this team.

Can't believe they gave Minor a TD on one of the plays. They said he was in bounds because of the pylon, yet the ncaa rule is:
Player Out of Bounds
ARTICLE 1. a. A player or an airborne player is out of bounds when any part of his person touches anything, other than another player or game official, on or outside a boundary line (A.R. 4-2-1-I and II).
rule 4-2 / Ball in Play, dead Ball, out of Bounds fr-81
b. A player or an airborne player who touches a pylon is out of bounds.
