Game: NCAA Football 2009 / Madden 2009 Platform: 360 Sliders: Not too sure yet. I'll adjust as I go. Rosters: Generated. Now wait... there is a reason. This story is going to start in 2003. This is going to allow Jamar to enter the NFL (Madden) in 2008. So yeah, fake players are needed lol. I will use some key names (Chad Henne, Darren McFadden, etc.) Obviously they will be in the same class as Jamar though. A little confusing... it will make more sense when I get it started lol. This should be fun. Hope you all enjoy it.

October 10th, 2003Redemption. That's all I want. Tomorrow night starts the playoffs. This is it. My senior year. Colleges all over the nation watching me. I refuse to let it end the same way as last year. I let me team down. The game in my hands, and I got selfish. There were two minutes left in the Pennsylvania state championship. We were up 21-20 with the ball on our Wilson's 40 yard line. 3rd and 3. With a first down the game was over. The call was Iso 220 pitch. My line hit their blocks perfect. Not a hand on me for 5 yards. I should have taken a dive. I don't know where the hit came from, but the ball came out. A dog fight for the ball... and they got it. All because I was selfish. I was thinking touchdown when I didn't have to. Maybe you have heard of Wilson's quarterback, his name is Chad Henne. The kid is ridiculous. He's already received a scholarship to go to Michigan. I've never seen anybody as composed as him. He led the Bulldogs down the field with ease. They kicked a field goal with 20 seconds left in the game. That's how I lost us the state championship. I'm one of the top running backs in the nation. And I'm going to prove it. Redemption. I will achieve it. I'm Jamar Turner. This is my story.

October 29th, 2003One Step CloserI wanted to break records. I wanted to score a hundred touchdowns. But most importantly, I just wanted to win. “Iso 224, splash twins on two” Cory Redding gave us all that same blank stare. The one we had looked at all season. The guy is so emotionless. Which at times can be nice, but damn give us some motivation every once in awhile. The play was a dive play, between the center and right tackle. It was late in the third quarter. We were up 21-10 on Bishop McDevitt, and I was looking to close the game out. It was a cold wet night. I just wanted to huddle up on the sidelines. We lined up and I quickly read the defense. It's one of my best attributes. I know what the defense is doing before the play ever starts. I saw the right side linebacker shift behind the end. He was blitzing. Perfect. “Hut, hut!” Redding snapped that ball into my gut hard. I was right, the linebacker took off around the end and the hole opened up. The middle linebacker closed in quickly. Terry, our fullback, picked him up and it was off to the races. I embarrassed the strong safety with a double step and walked into the endzone. 32 yards. My best run of the night. Well, I didn't succeed at breaking records, but it doesn't matter. We trashed McDevitt 35-10. I scored 3 of our touchdowns and ended with 153 yards rushing and 43 receiving. Nothing fantastic, but it was enough to win. I needed to improve though. Especially if I wanted to play at a big name school. I didn't stay out too long to talk with many of the scouts after the game. I was cold. I just wanted to go home and sleep. Then prepare for next week. I didn't care about anything but the next game. Football is my life. It's not like I have much else to live for. I lost my mom earlier this year. She died in a car accident on her way home from work. It's just unfair how the world works. She did everything for our family. She supported three kids on her own. She tried so damn hard. There was no reason for her to go. None. My dad, well, he left when I was young. I hear from him every now and then. I don't care enough to stay in contact with him though. Why should I? So now I'm in my room at my aunt and uncles. They told me they would take me in until I go to college. It's getting late. I off for the night. Later.

October 30th, 2003One Missed CallI rolled over in bed. The first feelings of the pain from last night. I grabbed my phone off of the side table to check the time. 7:30 and one missed call. “Oh shit...” I remembered then. I told Rachel I would call her when I got home last night. I was just so exhausted I completely forgot. Me and Rachel go way back. I've known her since I was five years old. We basically grew up with one another. Kinda that weird, guy and girl best friend thing. Never anything more. A lot of people call me a dumbass for not getting with her. She is extremely attractive. Long brown hair, deep green eyes, the perfect body. I don't know. I just don't want to ruin a friendship I guess. It has never been worth it to me. But shit, I can't believe I forgot to call her. Hopefully she won't be too mad. I drug myself into the bathroom and stared for a second into the mirror. I never feel more alone then when I'm looking in a mirror. I don't know why. I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm not some depressed emo kid. I love life. I'm gonna live every second to my fullest ability. But sometimes it just seems so hard. I gave Rachel a call back. She wasn't too mad. She understands how hard all of this has been on me. We made some plans to go out later tonight. Alright, time for church. I gotta get going.

November 5th, 2003Who's NextThis kid was good. But I am better. It had been a epic showdown. The score was 24-21 with two minutes left in the game. I had a good day, but I had never had to run harder in my entire life. Downingtown West has this linebacker named John Stocker. The kid is ranked the number three linebacker in the state. He's good. Already received a scholarship to go play at Penn State, linebacker university. Well it was back and forth between me and him all night. My head was ringing from some of his hits. But that wasn't going to slow me down. “Hut!” I took off to the right side of the line. Cory slammed the ball into my stomach and I took off between the guard and tackle. There he was, Stocker. I needed four more yards for the first. It was all we needed and the game was in hand. I lowered my head, so did he. Crack. Keep those feet moving. The next thing I knew I was free to run. Stocker was on the ground behind me. I darted left towards the free safety. Two step, and nothing but green in front of me. 46 yards later, I stepped into the endzone. 31-21 State College. This one was in the books. After the game, I couldn't even get to the locker room without reporters swarming me. All of them were just asking about the one play. We won, that's I could think about. I responded with two words. “Who's next?”

November 8th, 2003The SpotlightIt's a crazy feeling. Being a star. I like it. I like the people looking in the streets, at school. The spotlight on me. It's a heavy burden though. Knowing that all these people are relying on me for a state championship. I mean, we still have another game before we should be talking championship. “Hey Jamar” I heard her voice. It was beautiful to hear on a Monday morning. “Hey girl, how you doing?” I turned to see Rachel, those tight sweats on her. Damn. She knew how to get a playa lookin. “I'm doing good. This place is getting crazy cause of you. Aren't you excited?” “Yeah, I guess. I'm just trying to keep my head on I guess.” “Yeah. I have to get going though. What are you doing tonight?” “Uh, nothing I guess.” “Call me.” And she turned and walked away. Damn for a white girl she had an ass on her. Maybe everybody is right. Maybe I should get with her. I mean, we fit well. And there was no chance in hell I'm not going to call her tonight. Who knows? I turned back around to go to class. “WHATS UP!” “Holy shit!” Marcus. Crazy bastard. He was standing there with some newspaper in my face. “Look at what you did.” He said with a smirk on his face. Right there on the front page it said my quote. “Who's next?” And a picture of Wilson was there. Great. I read the article. And it got me fired up. Their one safety. Jacob Michaels, was doing nothing but talking shit on me. He was the one who caused the fumble in last years state championship game. “Jamar Turner is nothing. The kid is overrated. Wait and see. I'll make sure the punk doesn't get more than 50 yards on Friday.” We'll see Michaels... We'll see.

November 9th, 2003The Sunshine StateSo I got some pretty badass news. I received a call earlier today. It was Bobby Bowden. I don't think I've ever been more excited in my entire life. To make a long story short, we talked for roughly a half hour. He told me that there was a scholarship for me, but that I would probably start off down on the depth chart. I understood, I figured it would be like that no matter where I go. I didn't accept immediately. I need to weigh out my options. But so far, that's definitely the best I have received. Me... a Seminole. The rest of the day has gone well too. After school I went out with Rachel to dinner. It was a good time. And now I'm here. In my room... bored out of my mind... Ring... ring...“Hello?” “Hello, could I please speak with Jamar Turner. This is Larry Coker from Miami University.” “Uh, hi Mr. Coker. This is Jamar speaking” “Oh, well Jamar I just wanted to call to let you know that I've seen you play. And I must say I have been very impressed.” “Well thank you sir.” “I just wanted to give you a heads up. I will have some scouts attending your game against Wilson on Friday. I expect to hear great things when they get back.” “I'll be sure you do.” “Good. It's been nice speaking with you Jamar.” “You too. Bye.” Wow... First Florida State... now Miami. The Sunshine State huh? I'm pretty sure I could get used to that.
