1. I didn't hear me bitching about my loss.
2. You have been cocky in recent weeks, this week was (could be wrong) the first week you accepted a possible loss.
3. Stfu about Shonn Greene.
4. I realize they don't play there for another 2 years but I think he'll still be here. He's not retiring. And like I said, pretty sure his last game in Iowa City is on the bottom of his list of important things to do before he goes out.
5. When you ask someone who they think of when you say the Big Ten. They'll name Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Michigan State before they get anywhere near Iowa.
6. You haven't even played Penn State 6 times in the last 7 years dumbass.
Oh and 7. 2 of those 3 wins you have since 2002, are in two of Penn State's franchise worst years ever. Congratulations.

Well i never once said it was high on his list, my opinion of him being finished coaching and yours are obviously differently...sorry to offend you by saying I thought his last game there was this game... 5. I realize that, obviously in "Football" those are in the top 5, but because that is based basically on tradition, Iowa has had solid tradition in football and has been better recently than a couple of those programs you put there...but they are definately not "irrelevant"... 6. Just putting this out there, but Loki how can you call Iowa non-significant when Penn State has a record similar to Purdue since joining the Big Ten?

No, I was getting ready to tell him to just stfu because he's being an idiot and drop it. I made my point when I sound what teams people would think of before the Iowa Hawkeyes in just the Big Ten. Penn State is one of those teams, like Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, and Alabama, that you just connect with college football. Iowa? Definitely not. I didn't say non-significant either...that word sounds so stupid. |

Its been fun reading the Illinois boards this year... they all thought that they were about to achieve dominant status in the B10 but they've been relegated to where they will most likely stay. They were just the newest Purdue/Northwestern..

So, three or four highly-ranked recruiting classes later, all they have is one illegitimate Rose Bowl appearance and no ten-win seasons to show for it. As much I hated kansas for going to the Orange Bowl last year, Illinois going to the Rose might have been a bigger screwjob over Mizzou last year. Damn the Big 10 and their over-rated Rose Bowl crap. |

I know last year has zero relevance to this year, but I just think it's poetic justice that the two teams that earned BCS bowls over Mizzou are 6-4 (kansas) and 5-5 (Illinois) so far THIS season, while Mizzou is 8-2, likely headed for at least 10 wins, maybe more, for the second straight year, and another shot at a conference title.
Alright, I'm done tooting my own horn. ;D
