Dude is fucked. Shoots himself in the thigh and will face a minimum of 3.5 years in the slammer. New York's Mayor Mike Bloomberg has even said Plax needs to go to jail. I think the punishment is a lil harsh but whatever.

He pisses me off and God bless him, I want the guy off the Giants and he may be headed that way.
To be fair though, at least with him carrying a gun, receiver Steve Smith was robbed at gunpoint on November 25th...I'm going to imagine that Plaxico thought twice about bringing that gun and felt, knowing what happened to his teammate just three days earlier, that it was necessary for him to bring that gun. Unfortunately, he's not all that intelligent and shot himself. The simple fact that he had to go out to a club, that any of these players keep going out to a club when they know who they are, says he's pretty unintelligent.
And turnin doesn't know shit about this obviously. The MINIMUM in New York is 3.5 years if found guilty. It's not UP TO, it's AT LEAST 3.5 years.

i seem to remember it being 3.5 to 11 years but maybe i heard wrong but I doubt he'll go to jail or if he does it'll be like jamal lewis and he go in the offseason and then be back

And apparently ESPN has pretty much just backed my idea about the whole deal with Smith causing Burress to be a bit fearful. But if you're scared, why go out and put yourself in position for trouble?

I find it to be bullshit. You are a role model. If you are worried about protection, I am sure you can find somebody to carry that gun for you.
