So when I get the admin role this weekend one of the first things I'm going to do is work on a new skin for these forums.
I was just wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions on what you think would look good.

Keep is mainly black. White text on the black/gray backgrounds is the easiest on the eyes. That is crucial if you intend to get dynasties back here.

Keep a dark background and white font, it's better on the eyes.

oh yeah, i'm gonna keep a dark gray/blackish background... i am trying to decide on the other color though... lol. like, it's yellowish gold now... i was thinking green or blue or red...

I frankly think the current color scheme is dandy. The yellow flows well with the black because of it being a darker shade. It does not kill your eyes when you come to post on here. If anything, I would say getting people in would be a top priority then put full focus on the appearance.

Also, at the very bottom of the main page: "This is your forum's main header and footer. It is used on all pages that are not boards (such as the homepage of your forum, the admin area, instant messaging area, etc). Header Footer" I get the feeling that's not supposed to be there.

Is there a way to choose between new and old? I recall proboards had that feature of choosing the skin you preferred. This just seems a little too cluttered for me.
