Not to be a pain in the ass, just pointing out..Jarrett stepped up once on third down; he only had one reception in the game and it was that one on third down.
If you guys don't mix it up with both DeAngelo Williams and JStew, I think your ground game will be just slightly better than it was last night vs. the Saints. Delhomme should have a good game vs. that garbage D but if he forgets about Steve Smith after the first half like he did last night, you guys are gonna have trouble. You SHOULD beat New Orleans but the NFC South apparently doesn't win on the road so...

The ground game was fine last night, Williams is the best RB in the league this year and Stewart is as good as most starters. I dont worry about those two or the oline at all. The thing keeping the offense from being elite is delhomme because there are no weaknesses elsewhere.

So your saying Williams had a much better night than Jacobs? He broke one long run 30 yards to give him twenty more yards on the same amount of carries and got one more touchdown. I believe they both had very good games and weren't held in check. Either way, does it even matter considering Ward ran for over 200 too? Probably not, just opinion from both of us.
You have a good point about playing New Orleans on the road and the NFC South's success at home, but this is a team with NOBODY to stop Steve Smith and a team you should be able to run effectively against. This is a team Delhomme can step up and have success against and put you guys in the playoffs with a first round bye.
While I do feel Brees will have a good game, he's had a great season but it hasn't led to much as they won't be going to the playoffs. It'll be a high-scoring game but I have to believe with more to play for and a dominant 30-7 win early this season that Carolina will win this game; even on the road, and get the first round bye.

I definitely think williams had a better game. Its not difficult to get a one yard run, Jacobs TDs did not add anything that manning couldnt have done on a sneak or another RB could have taken in. Old news anyway though.
Saints dont need to have someone to stop smith, delhomme and fox can do it on their own as we saw in the second half sunday.
New orleans isnt good and carolina should win. On paper they are much better, especially ten guys on offense and the stars on defense. I just dont trust them. On the road Delhomme could come out for a 15-30, 175 yard with 3 INT game and nobody would be surprised.
