Clayton you're clearly out of the loop on these things, haha. Bush DID know that they wanted to attack the Twin Towers, even Bill Clinton did. He had plenty of time to do something and he failed to do so, leaving thousands upon thousands' lives in danger.
And I get what everyone is saying about the economy, but is it somehow sheer coincidence that it all fell apart with him at the helm? Come on now. We were struggling but he put us into a multi-trillion dollar hole that's gonna be a bitch to get out of for a very long time.

The 9/11 thing is hard. He didn't know when or where. They knew they wanted to hijack planes and use them as weapons, they didn't know what day (or time period for that matter) and what buildings. What more could they have done? Terrorism works because it's sneaky and really easy to pull off. It took getting 20 guys on airplanes. Hell I could get 20 guys together and theoretically pull something like this off even today. It'd be a little effort, but it's not like it was a really hard goal to pull off. Bush doesn't deserve blame for what 20 crazy middle eastern fucks did.
The economy is much too complex to blame on anyone. We have banks that got greedy and are now sitting on toxic assets. I've heard rumors from people in the know that there still may be 2.4 trillion dollars in write-down's left to come!! I can't even get my mind around that one. It's probably less than that, but still an unfathomable amount of money to be lost. That doesn't happen overnight nor because of an administration's policies. Ugh...this economy is going to wreck Obama's presidency if what I'm seeing right now is in fact true.
