YEEHAW!
Of course, I forgot the cardinal rule of picking MSU to win one more game than you think they will in your bracket - i had them losing here. Damned if I care.

I'm pretty much screwed anyway, so to hell with it. I got 3 of 4 in my bracket that counts if UNC wins today with both NC members still alive in Uconn and UNC. Had a good first couple rounds, so I think I'm in good shape. It helped that I didn't have a boner for Memphis either.

I dont know when the last time I was so uninterested in the Final Four. I'm rooting for Nova since they have to play the Heels. If they lose, I could care less about who wins the title.

Fuck you Digger Phelps. Fuck you Dick "Dukie V" Vitale. Fuck you Greg Anthony. Fuck you Seth Davis. Fuck you Digger Phelps. Fuck you Bob Knight. Fuck you Hasheem Thabeet. Fuck you Digger Phelps. Fuck everyone else who thinks the Big Ten sucks. And Fuck you Digger Phelps (picked against us every fuckin game). Love you Jay Bilas and love you Hubert Davis, and love you Andy Katz. Spartans 2-0 against Big East number one seeds, beat Pitt and Marquette previous two years. Big East ain't shit. Undefeated against Big 12, Big 12 ain't shit. I hope UNC wins, Dukie V and Digger slob on their dick all week and how they beat us by 30 without one of our best players, then just do the same shit over again. Sorry, I'm a little happy right now.

A guy who has given MSU props all year long and is the only unbiased bastard on Gameday? More funny articles...Mike Freeman Pick: Connecticut 70, Michigan State 58 Tom Izzo has probably done the best coaching job of anyone in the sport this year. That has to be true because this Spartans team just isn't very good. Not a single starting NBA player on the roster. (Spartans fans launch message board Molotov cocktails in three, two, one ...) But it's true: The Spartans caught Louisville napping and Connecticut will show Michigan State for what they are: a plodding, ugly team run by a world class coach. Gary Parrish Pick: Connecticut 71, Michigan State 65 They're better, that's why. They're better offensively and defensively, and they've got a better roster. That's the simplest and most accurate way to explain it, that UConn is better than Michigan State. And this is coming from someone who believes Tom Izzo is awesome. The man has dealt with injuries and illnesses and speculation about his coaching future nearly all season, and he has still managed to do a marvelous job with this team. He's in his fifth Final Four in 11 years -- a remarkable achievement anywhere, especially at a place like Michigan State. But UConn has at least three future pros, most notably Hasheem Thabeet. And with Kemba Walker breaking out (23 points in the Elite Eight) and A.J. Price consistently posting big numbers (at least 15 points in six consecutive games), it's difficult to envision a scenario under which the Huskies don't advance ... unless Michigan State gets them in foul trouble, takes them to six overtimes and exploits Donnell Beverly and Scott Haralson in the final five minutes (you know, just like Syracuse did in the Big East tournament).

Michigan State won off fine coaching and UConn failing like Memphis at the line.

[UConn obviously had more talent. MSU outsmarted UConn, not out-athleted them. How can you say this? MSU's guards are just as quick as UConn's and UConn was supposed to dominate the boards and they didnt. Anyone else see the Summers dunk? I think that was pretty athletic.

MSU is a deeper team than UCONN. UConn only gets hyped because of Thabeet and Price. Adrian and Austrie are too inconsistent, and Kemba Walker, a freshman, is their 6th man.
Seeing Sparty beat UCONN is no surprise to me at all.
