After a four year stretch of getting it right, I'm wrong again for like the 4th year in a row.

Clayton. What are looking for in the Belmont. Mine That Bird looked like he closed great, but would the slower pace of the Belmont hurt the closer? Fuck though, I thought he was a sprinter coming in. Anyway I basically want to know if you got a favorite.

Well, Mine That Bird proved many wrong including myself. A lot thought he was a fluke...him closing like that in the Preakness showed he's no fluke. He had a somewhat troubled trip in the later stages of the race and that could have hurt a little. Also, keep in mind the Preakness is the shortest of the 3.
The pace in the Derby wasn't to hot in the early stages and he ran away with it late. I don't think the pace will be an issue for him in the Belmont.
Rachel Alexandra is still a toss up for the Belmont. If she runs she will be tough. Right now, Mine That Bird looks like the clear favorite if Rachel Alexandra decides to skip the race.
Horses that have confirmed to run are Chocolate Candy, Dunkirk, Mr. Hot Stuff, Summer Bird, Charitable Man, Gitano Hernando, and Miner's Escape.
