As the subject says, happy birthday man. Pretty surprised no one got to this before I did. Don't enjoy it too much!

happy 21st freak. wish i could party wit ya Trust me you aren't missing anything. See, I am dumb and tell them I can work Sunday mornings. Well don't you know that I have to work 8:45 in the morning tomorrow. So I am going to do stuff next weekend when my one friend comes to visit. Not only that but it is easier because some places are weird about the day you turn 21. Last night I did a little though. We planned on more tonight but that work thing was a bitch. Although that party last night had some of the worst free drinks ever. Anyway, thanks for the wishes. It is pretty cool now but in a way it is kind of depressing. I think about how I looked forward to my 16th, 18th, and 21st birthdays, but now what? It kind of makes me think I will be stuck in some monotonous cycle of life without something to look forward to in terms of birthdays. Although, I do have other things.

Meh, you could look forward to graduating college, getting married, having a kid, getting a good job......sure it's not the same as celebrating a birthday but those are pretty much the big events in adulthood.

I wanted a big party for my 21st but couldn't do it. Now I don't have a significant birthday to look forward to until I'm 30 and that'll probably be depressing in general.
