Stephen Get rid of the ratings...NOW

Ok im having a good day right. And im not someone who cares too much about ratings, but when you get a low rating for an idiotic reason, it kinda ticks me off. I get home forst IM i get my cousin saying you just got a 4 from osubeavs721. One quick question who is he? any way, His reason was.....I dont play Miami. Thats it, said we play them every year. Which is actually wrong. We played them some in the early 80's and then these past two years. We got rid of them again starting this upcoming season.

I say just scrap the entire thing. Make it weekly hits on the site avg. Let that determain the top 10. I dont have a problem with ratings, but when idiots give low ratings for stupid reasons it pisses me off. Just scrape the ratings system and get it over. Now if he woulda rated me a 4 with an honest opinion then i owuldnt be mad and id strive to get better but a 4 cuz i dont play Miami. thats just retarded any way get rid of the ratings

Honestly, I could careless whether we have ratings or not.

If we dont, then u could find somethin to replace them and whatever it is people will still argue about it.

If we do, everyone will continue to argue about ratings anyway because idiots like to give low ratings for no reason. Some people rate low because that is what they believe the other deserves, and then some people give low ratings because they are angry at that person or they have a dumb reason for it like "he didnt play Miami"

So what, he can play who he wants, I thought that was his decision not yours OSUBeavs721. Who are u to tell others who to play and who not to play.

No i dont mind a bad rating if it is legit. Because i didnt play Miami is just plain stupid and ignorant. Maybe if he had a legitimate reason for a 4 od understand and fix it to get the rating raised. Bu tbecause i didnt put Miami on myschedule because we dont play them anymore. Thats just ignorant

I'd also like to add osu's rating is the dumbest thing I've seen on this site (non forum part). You're not rating on how the team is doing (too much) or who they play! I would be mad too. But just because you got pissed off doesn't mean everybody should suffer.

I agree with what your saying Boise, but u have a high-rating and boom it drops like a rock.

To some people thats stuck in their mind that they got a crappy rating for no reason and its hard for them to even continue the dynasty, so they cant ignore them.

On the other hand I can see what your saying...

Yeah i was a lil frusterated and i do like the ratings, but when you have idiots rating because i didnt play a certain team then I say you might as well het rid of them, because the idiots are always gonna be here. I feel a close knit family with bout 8 of us, but then therese the people like osubeavs721 who just do something stupid and act like an @$$. Oh well what can I do. Nothing I guess just hope more people dont act like a fool and rate someone wihtout reading soem things or following it for a lil while, and rate based upon schedules

Well if u wanna rate on schedules, I think most of us are in trouble...

I think I better watch my Bakersfield dynasty and make sure I play Cal and USC each season.

Any way all this could have been prevented if a certain someone could have rated according to one thing "Writing" or even other little things.

I went to see what kind of dyansty osu had and found this Detroit Lions one. Can anybody tell me where he got this great idea of Franchise Info, Transactions, Depth Chart, Standings all on one dynasty, along with the logo from sportsline.com? Hmmmmm.... I even had a message of "more coming" while I was making my dynasty too....
