Ok heres the deal. I had one of those Revelations last night...ya know when ur up about 2 am and you have the GREAT idea...yeah that happened.
So heres what I'm doing. My idea was to follow my own personal football career through highschool, college, and hopefully, into the NFL. I created my highschool team, and 8 other teams on our schedule. I've created myself and some of my buddies as players on my team (Lincoln Lutheran Warriors).
Eventhough you have to play at least 11 games in NCAA, we only play 8. I will be simming those other three games, as well as any post season play, and subtracting those stats. I have replaced us 9 teams with the ACC, as the NCAA teams don't really matter because this is highschool anyway.
If we win our district, Or I decide we had a good enough season for a wildcard bid to the playoffs, I will create some more highschools and play them in an exhibition as the playoffs.
When I finish the 4 highschool years, I will start a new dynasty, and Sim through the 2006-2007 season, and then create myself as a prospect. How good of prospect I am depends on what kind of stats I put up during the four highschool years.
I will then let the CPU pick the school for me. (yeah you all know I'd pick Nebraska, so I'm doing this for entertainment of myself, and for you). I'lll then take control of that team and play four years with that school. If I'm good enough, I'll export myself into madden, and follow my pro career. If not, well the dynasty will be over.
How I'm doing this, is im just writing journal entries about what I'm thinking about the football, school, and other stuff. So tell me if this is cool or stupid.
