Has anybody ever purchased a game from deepdiscountdvd.com?I purchase most of my DVDs from that site and have always been very happy. I even received the Spider-man DVD five days before it was to be released. They have free shipping and if you live outside of Illinois, there is no charge for tax. Anyway, they sell some games on the site, and I noticed they had NCAA 2005 for $45.99. That’s the cheapest I’ve seen it sell for, and there is no shipping or tax. Has anyone else purchased games from that site? I am wondering when I would get the game. DVDs usually arrive at my house before or on the street date, but I’ve never ordered a game from them before. They do claim the game should arrive around its official release date. I figured at worst it will be a week late and I’ll be waiting for rosters anyway, so I might as well save a few bucks. |

sounds good but when you get something 5 days before it comes out I wonder where they get it because most places aren't suppose to send the product until the day before...unless it was a presale, sale on the product and they stated u would get it before cause I have worked for a company that sent movies and shit out on presale like that and if the government caught that they could be shut down...I'm not saying anything against u or anything its just I wouldn't trust that company

Well, the Spider-man DVD coming five days early seemed to be a big exception. If you pre-order a new release DVD, they try to ship it so that it arrives on the release date. Most of the time I'll get it the day before or the day of the release.
I think they are a good company. I received a DVD that wouldn't play one time. I sent it back and they promptly sent me a new copy, so I've liked them ever since.
I have never purchased a game from them before. I did order NCAA 2005 so we'll see what happens. I'll post here when I get it, and if I am happy or not.
FYI...if you order DVDs that are in stock, it usually takes 6-8 days for them to arrive (using the free shipping...and it's usually 8 days). So that's why I figure the worst case scenario is the game will get to me a week after the release date.

I might buy ncaa and madden from the site. but gotta find out how it is for you first. I don't need it the moment it comes out though.

I hope the game gets to you soon now, otherwise you may be chewing me out.  It is a good site though. I had some DVDs I ordered arrive this week, and they gave me a coupon for 20% off of all in-stock DVDs. Their DVD prices are usually lower than most retail stores, and with the no tax and free shipping, it's a great deal. Can't wait for NCAA to arrive! |

If i don't get it the day it comes out, you are going to get chewed out. Just kidding man. They seem to be a good company. The game should come to me within the frist 3 days it is out. I don't care if it isn't the day it is supposed to be here or not. I am getting it for 3 something less than most people and free shipping, no tax. I checked out some of the other dvds and games on it. Looks like a good site that i may use for games and dvds now.

check it out and see that you can get the games cheaper than a lot of places. No 49.99 for madden or ncaa 2005 for me this year. I want to thank Xanderski for posting this site or else i would never know about it.

Well, it doesn't look like we'll be getting it on release day. My order says it hasn't shipped yet, so it will probably be another week before it shows up.
If you're desperate, you could pick up NCAA 2005 in a store, save the receipt, and then when your copy from DDD comes in return it at the store you bought the game from.
I'll probably just wait on mine though...NCAA sucks up all of my free time and it's kind of nice to be productive for once.

Yeah mine said ship date ~ 7/13/2004. Hopefully it will be shipping today and get it by the end of the week. But it is ok. Don't have that much time to do much for the dynasty now anyway.
edit: Let me know when the status on urs changes. I am hoping it is shipped tomorrow and to me by friday so i can get a game or 2 in before i leave for vacation.
