Where do you rank him among college backs? And do you think he'll win the Heisman, a national title, or both in his college career?
Sorry, I'm just so pumped up for Steve right now.

Right now, I think he is the number 2 back in the country, right behind Adrian Peterson. I don't think he'll take home a heisman, because Pat White will steal a lot of votes away from him. He has a realistic chance of winning a national title if they don't get screwed by the BCS.

I agree with Sportsbuck on position. No doubt A.P. is the best in the land, if this kid decides to stick around and has a great year, I think they could have a shot at the BCS either this year or next year...

He's a top ten back, but he's not the best. AP at Oklahoma is still the best in college ball. Jammal Charles at Texas (I think I spelled that right) has looked like a more complete back to me, along with guys like Kenny Irons at Auburn.
The good thing about Slaton is, he's a perfet fit for the WVU offense. It's going to make him look better than he actually may be, but that's a good thing. His speed is phenominal, and it allows him to find more holes in that spread option offense. He's probably good for around 1,500 yards this year on the ground, depending on how well my boy Pat White plays and runs up there. So I actually think he'll be up in New York to watch Brady Quinn get the Heisman.

Top five maybe, but like bama said a few are better.
No.
No, West Virginia will never be good enough.
