Brennan should return. Now that hes on the radar, he should get serious heisman consideration and his stock will go up.

if Peterson waits till the last moment to announce I will personally hate him for getting my hopes up and crushing them like the oklahoma state defenders he runs over OU will be fine without Peterson. The offense was better off spreading out the carries between his backups. Yea I know I just want to watch Peterson play one more year. We got so much depth at running back. Our Freshman who got redshirted this year(I'm 98% sure) is a beast. His name is Moses Madu, and I remember when my high school team played him last year in the playoffs he had 220+ on us. We shut him down first half and then he exploeded the second half. We won 57-14 or something so I was happy. We should be getting Dre Stout who is a running back who reminds me exactly of Peterson. He looks and plays almost exactly like him.

Watch out for Louisville next year, with Brohm returning. The Big East is going to be a crapshoot again with West Virginia, Louisville and Rutgers returning almost all of their skill players.

Bye bye Pittman. That's not that bad though for them, because of the 83981908913895 running backs they have. Maurice Wells, Chris Wells, and Brandon Saine and Daniel Herron coming in. Still, that coupled with Ginn and Gonzalez is great news for us.

Brennan's leaving. What an idiot. Now he'll be exposed as a slightly better than average quarterback who got inflated stats cause of Hawaii's system.

Pittman didn't even impress me in college, what the hell makes him think he'll be better in the NFL?

I know what you mean Loki, another year would've done wonders for him.
But I'm not that concerned. Brandon Saine has the skills of Reggie Bush. He actually runs a faster 40 than Reggie does. Saine and Beanie Wells could form a devestating Thunder-Lightning, 1-2 punch for the next couple of years.

Adrian Peterson is gone, not much of a susprise. Kinda funny though, OU's record before Peterson was 4-2. After he went out with injury, they went 7-0. He comes back? They lose. I don't think this hurts OU as much as people think.

yup we have great running backs so it's not that bad. I think the line progressed as the year went on. They were really young and I think they just got better. I went to 2 games Peterson played in this year and I thought the line didn't block well but then watching games like TAMU I thought the line did an execellent job. BTW I went to the UAB and Iowa State game

I am curious why many of these no-names are coming out. Bradshaw from Marshall, just to name one, why come out? You are just taking away another year you could have spent in college, instead they arent gonna get picked and if they do will be really late picks and never play.....

Just because they played for Marshall or whomever doesn't mean they are a "no-name". They're only a no-name in the eyes of the media.
I can guarantee you that 80-90% of these guys have good reasons to declare early, and the reasons probably vary greatly. The guy from Idaho on that list? He's a fifth-year junior, 99% sure he's got his degree, and Idaho is going through a coaching change. Why stay for another 1-10 season? I'm sure that guy just wants an opportunity. Also, look at all the crap that's going on at Arkansas. 2-3 guys on that list, and one's already transferred to USC.
Some of these guys are just in bad situations. I'll say that most of them don't make a lot of sense, like Sidney Rice at SC for example, but if the NFL thinks he's got a chance to be drafted high, more power to him.

Some people are only in school to go to the NFL so whether everyone else thinks they're ready or not they're going because they can't deal with school any longer. Kinda sad but that's the way it is.
