Some people are only in school to go to the NFL so whether everyone else thinks they're ready or not they're going because they can't deal with school any longer. Kinda sad but that's the way it is. There's your other 10-20%.

Brennan came to his senses today and withdrew his name from the draft pool. Good move.

One more year will help his stock, I think it could mean the difference between being a borderline first rounder and a solid first rounder.

It's three months before the draft.
Right now, there are probably "Inside Sources", saying that Reggie Ball will be the number one pick.

Very nice Sportsbuck. True, who saw Mario at one... in January??? Its going to be a great draft this year, interesting to see how the Lions ruin the career of this second overall pick.

I personally would like to see Joe Thomas go to the Lions. Maybe you Detroit guys have a different thought.

I'm sorry, but I need something to give me hope. An O-lineman isn't really the impact pick this fanbase needs desperately.

Joe Thomas is my guy too. I would like to see us trade the pick to stockpile more picks later on. If Marinelli got his way, we would take a Gaines Adams/Okoye player. We need help on both sides, but I think we should take the Jets angle and draft two offensive lineman with our first two picks.
EDIT: We do need a breath of frsh air, but I honestly don't see us taking Quinn. Russell, as of right now, is a Raider...

Then again, I believe the whole purpose of the draft is to draft for the team, not the fanbase. Joe Thomas would fill a need for you guys. Not JaMarcus Russell.

Since when have the Lions paid attention to the team?

Russell's going to be a Raider. Mark it down. However, I think all of us thought Reggie Bush was going to be a Texan last year. I don't think lightning strikes twice here, though. It's hard to ignore 6'6", 250+ under center with a cannon arm, especially the Raiders and their quarterback problems.
Quinn's the logical choice anyways if you want to go the quarterback route. He's better suited to the NFL since he played in a pro system at Notre Dame, and his learning curve will be a lot flatter than most coming out. I know most people here think he's overrated because he can't win the big games, but his skills translate much better. Russell just has more upside.
