This is the Official National championship thread. Who you think is going to win? by how much? How so? Who will become the difference maker.
I dont know alot about the two teams, but I know enough to know that if Ohio State jumps out to an early lead.... It will be a long night for a Florida team who has been in alot of close games. If it is kept close, one of the teams will get it rolling late and I wouldnt be suprised if it's Florida.
I think Percy Harvin is a burner, and used right, he could torch Ohio State a few times. They should absolutely use him.
Chris Leak was highly touted out of highschool, he was supposed to be the savior in Florida. Can he make that happen? I think he could sky rocket his draft stock by a gutsy proformance here. If he shows up in a big game like this, NFL teams will notice.
It's also a big game for Troy Smith. Proove to the world you deserved that Heisman.

Even though it pains me as a Michigan fan to say this, I believe fully that OSU will win this game.
If they run that spread offense like they did in the first half of the Michigan game, then they'll run away with this. They're just too deep and talented at reciever for Florida to really stop them.
As far as speed goes, I can see Florida giving OSU some trouble, but OSU will adjust and overcome.
I'm gonna go with 27-17 final. I'll be rooting all the way for Florida though.

I heard on the radio that Florida is the worst offensive team in a title game in years. They have the worst efficiancy of any team in nearl 3 decades. That's pretty harsh.

Ohio State is the best football team in the nation, thusly, they should win.

I think the Buckeyes likely win, but damn if I won't be rooting big for the Florida Gators.

I think its obvious who im going with and ill take them by 3 points. I hope we do everything we can to get Percy Harvin involved and that Chris Leak plays the best game of his collegiate career tonight.
Reggie Nelson, Ryan Smith, and Brandon Siler all need to step up tonight. Our defensive line should keep Troy Smith in check and get some pressure on him. I dont think I could be any more nervous tonight, Gator fans have been waiting for this opportunity since the day Ron Zook got hired and fired, because we knew we wouldnt of gotten here with him.

If I see another prediction of either team winning by 20+ points, I will snap something.
This will be a close, down to the wire, football game.

Ha I know, I dont see either team blowing the other one out. I expect a great game tonight if both teams play up to their full potential, which is expected in a Nat' Championship game.

The key player in this game for Ohio State is... not Troy Smith.
The key player in this game for Ohio State is our fullback, Stan White, Jr. When we run it up the gut, or on toss plays, he has to do his job and block Brandon Siler, or Earl Everett. If he cannot do that, then we will become one-demensional.
And one-demensional football teams do not win national championships in this day in age.

That was the worst coverage by a Buckeye I've seen thus far this season.

I'll probably just keep on posting throughout the game, so I don't care if I double post.
We need to stop playing cover 2 over the top, and blitzing. Just sit back and play either man, or man/zone. Our front four was putting good pressure on Leak. We almost got to him on that touchdown pass.
