Eh, I've become a fan of reading sites like HI and HP and getting a few good laughs out of them...esp. the free recruiting articles that come around once in a while. Most fans over there on those sites are okay, some just seem a little overblown on expectations this year. I'm friends with a few Husker fans that are a few years younger than I am and they fit the term "homer" very well...

Didn't think my little comment would hijack the thread. Back on topic, I'm excited for 08 even more now after the last few things that buck has posted, and I think I'll be asking this one for the b-day, I believe. Need to save money this summer.

Wife's bday was last month so she always spends the time between hers and mine to trying to figure out what to get me and usually struggles - I told her NCAA comes out the week of my bday but she's looking for something bigger than that.

Every school has crazy expectations this time of the year. You could probably find 40 fan bases who have people who believe that "this is our year." Yeah.......

I'll edit this if that dynasty article makes me excited, but I'm right now planning on buying 08. This is kind of a last straw for me though, if the gameplay sucks, I'm going to bother with 09 until I see for myself improved gameplay.

Man EA is on a tear.... Im excited to see how Madden, NCAA 08, and NBA Live succeed this year. I probably wouldnt have enough money to buy all three games though for my 360

Damn that looks good, EA may have finally won me over, which takes a lot after last years shitty dynasty however that vid was for reg gens.

Also why the frickin hell is xbox and ps2 gameplay soooooo much better than 360's, like the way the players run and the way everything flows is soo much better. For the 360 players look like they got a stick up their ass when they run, it pisses me off.

Recruiting just looks sick in this version. I'm stoked to try this out.

There's a quick run-through of the current ratings for the teams in NCAA through San Diego St. It's sort of hard to understand, but bear with me. And how the hell is Michigan's defense rated above Ohio State's?

Just a few things to touch on.

- Ohio State's defense is too low, and our offense is way to high. Our special teams are too low.
- Michigan's offense is right on, but their defense is too high.
- Florida St.'s offense is too high.
- Miami's pathetic offense is too high.
- Florida's offense is a tad overrated, and their defense is a tad underrated by these ratings.
- Navy's offense is too low. EA doesn't realize that they return their starting quarterback, tailback, fullback, and most of their offensive line.
- Clemson's offense is too low.
- Hawaii's offense should be higher.
- All of Georgia's ratings are too low.
- Not sure on this one, and maybe Bama could correct me if I'm wrong, but Alabama's offense is too high.

And YOU don't realize that they have a definite size disadvantage, lowering their ratings. But the fact that they use the option offense and their schedule is always horrible makes up for it.

Proof someone at EA is a Husker fan. NU's defense isn't close to a 91, and they are no better than Mizzou's, which is rated about right.

Hold on there buddy. I meant to say that it shouldn't have gone down from last year when they return all of those things.

I dont have any issues with Florida's rankings, just hope that this year they actually have most of this years recruits and last years since they missed so many last year and Urban showed it was pretty important to get our freshman in the video game, considering we used almost all of them last year.

Correct me if im wrong, but is Oklahoma State really "that" good? As for Nebraska, well it should be annoying to see them going 12-1, 13-0 every year. I hope EA made Tebow's broken tackle is high so I can run over everybody like he did last season.
