God, it can't come quick enough. I just wish September 1st would get here already.

Me either. I got tickets to the MSU vs UAB game and I really want to see if this team has a whole new attitude.
So far, I love Mr. Dantonio. I just hope we can keep him around for awhile. I don't want to change in 3 years again.

Part of me would like this, then the other half remembers that with football season comes school, which is something I don't wanna think about right now.

I agree, can't wait. There's a little countdown clock on a Mizzou fansite I frequent, and it's excruciating watching it tick down slowly.

I can't wait either. I'm going to see seven games in person this year, nothing like student tickets. The highlight should be my roadtrip to Tuscaloosa for the Bama/LSU game on Nov. 3rd. Also looking foward to seeing Mizzou, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, and LSU in person in Oxford. It's going to be great. Nothing like SEC football in person.

He'll get a rude awakening at Beaver Stadium in his second career game.

I don't know how UMiss works - did you just get free tickets in a student sports package or did you have to buy specific season tickets for football (the more common thing around the major teams)

I can't wait to see football live either. I'm going to Florida State to major in Political Science, so this whole Florida, Arkansas, etc. is getting me excited.
Plus, we get free bus transportation to away games and whatnot. The tickets at our school were easy to get, you had to pay a certain amount to get season tickets, but it wasn't nearly as high as a non-student would pay.

I'm sorry, I think I was misunderstood. I wasn't asking about tickets at a MAC school - you can walk up and buy tickets to those games... I was Jake about a major college like Ole Miss.

if that's where you were going, sure, but I'm asking for people who actually go/are going to the major schools, not Mid-Amer Conf schools

Due to the team not being that good and a campus with around 10-15k students, there isn't enough demand to make it really difficult to get them. At Alabama this year they are splitting the packages in two. So you can either get one or the other due to the crazy demand for tickets. Yeah though, we don't get the tickets for football or men's basketball (at Bama they do) free. At least baseball is free.......

if that's where you were going, sure, but I'm asking for people who actually go/are going to the major schools, not Mid-Amer Conf schools Thats the way UF fans like to treat FSU fans down here. The ACC just keeps getting weaker and weaker every year.

FSU is a major school - ACC is a major conference... I just wasn't inquiring about a "sub-major" D1 football league like the MAC.

A rivalry game that we just keep winning every year ;D I am very excited for this season. I think im most anxious to see how Tebow performs as starter, and excited to see Percy Harvin get much more playing time.
