Just picked it up and anxious to play it, but got a friend over who wanted to play GH2 and Gears so I'll prolly play it after I get off of work at Wal-Mart (cartpushing FTW?). Anywho I hear they have free mascot covers, so I'm a thinking to snag a Bucky the Badger one.
I'm anxious for the new shit they've added this year though.

Me= waiting 3 weeks  Trip to Florida for 2 weeks can keep my mind off it for then. Darjar can I get a super analysis on recruiting. Yeah i watched the 938159815 videos about it but I wanted to know how it actually is. How many can you offer in-season? Did they make the AI more realistic with Texas getting like 15 in-seasoners and USC getting small but elite recruiting classes? Does it have a recruiting history so in 2015 when Joe Smoe won the Heisman you can see he was the #2 recruit in the land back in 2013 or whatever. And are their still freak recruits like 4 star 4.5 QBs who aren't in the Top 100 and who turn out to be 85 ovr 88 speed. I know you'll be busy playing this and your probably still in your first dynasty season or haven't started but I was just interested in knowing. |

There is no more in-season recruiting and then off-season recruiting - it is basically year round. 2) I am five seasons in a recruiting test dynasty and so far it seems to me that players have a schedule on what date they commit so if Texas wanted 15 in-season recruits they'd have to persue 15 players that want to committ week eleven. I know what you're saying, but I don't think technology is at the point where it identifies past recruiting trends. 3) I am not sure if there is a recruiting history like the one you're talking. But if you wanted to you can make a mental note and remeber that player. 4) It seems more than any other year you have to scout the right guys because there are a lot of diamonds in the rough. I have had a couple 78 OVR 3 three recruits. But as for the super freaks, if there are any they would be five star recruits. And really, EA has got rid of the 25 Calvin Johnson's in each class and narrowed it down to one or two freaks per class. If it gives you any indication after five seasons there are only seven 98+ OVR players in the NCAA. I remember in 06 there would be 3 or 4 per team. This is a good sign it makes recruiting more fun because every fifth year senior five star recruit is not going to be a 99 OVR. That's basically what I have got for you now - I can take other questions too if I feel like answering them, but I think most of you have/are getting the game within the next couple of days. |

This game is 20x better than last year's.
Recruiting is....just very, very good. My only question is, if a recruit says "Not in Top 8" or "Not in Top 5", I'm guessing that means he's ruled you out, and it makes no sense to keep calling him.

It's amazing. Enough said lol. Basically Darjar gave the big news there. The recruiting is amazing. My only problem with it is that I'm already finding it too easy. I need sliders already lol. I just won a game... 45-10. I was Auburn (sorry Bama) and I was playing Michigan. That def shouldn't be the score hahah. So yeah, I just have to find some good sliders and get the names downloaded or whatever and I will be set to start with Penn State who is stacked in the game btw. Dan Conner is one of the 4 people who is a 99 overall  lol |

Penn State doesn't rate the Schnoz high enough though. Our O-line to underrated, too.

I agree about Schnoz lol. As for the O-Line though... I honestly think that they are about where they should be. Maybe a little low, but otherwise it's pretty accurate. Also, I just found sliders from SilentNature on OperationSports. I am yet to try them... but I remember I used his way way back in the day for Madden 06 and they were the best ever. I had amazing games with those. So I am about to set up a game. Penn State vs. Michigan State to try them out. Should be good |
