I wanted to start off this thread, with the new NCAA game out, what is the greatest game you have ever played? Doesn't have to be from '08, minbe is actually from three years ago....
My dad and I always play all the trophy games when the game first comes out. I was Oklahoma and he was Texas, this was on NCAA '06, so both Vince and A.P. were in the game.
I rarely lose to my dad but he took an early two touchdown lead with a deep pass to start the game and a big scamper by Vince on third down. I was forcing it, couldn't get any momentum going, and defensively he got a quick turnover and took a 17-0 lead. I was able to score before halftime but he quickly answered with a kickoff return that went 100 yards to give him a 24-7 lead into the half.
I came out at half with a fumble that one of his defensive ends took for a touchdown. The game was basically out of reach, but I made quick work of a 3 play drive and pulled the score to 31-14. After forcing a punt, I made a long field goal and forced another punt after injuring Vince for the rest of the third quarter. I was able to score and was within a touchdown. The score was 31-24, and there was little time left on the clock with Vince coming back into the game.
I held my dad from scoring in the redzone and with his poor kicking ability, missed the field goal giving me the entire field to work with. With just over 4 minutes left, I ran a screen play to A.P. who buted loose and tied the game. I left too much time on the clock and my dad took good field position and turned it into a field goal. With under a minute remaining, I decided to try my luck 'through the air.' Bomar (rememeber him?) was sacked and turned the ball over. I thought it was all over, but my gambler of a father threw on the very first play.... with less than :30, I intercepted the ball with one of OU's big bruising linebackers, he stumbled half the length of the field, with no time remaining to score and give me the win. Final score - Oklahoma 38 - Texas 34
That game sticks out in my head, so what games will you guys always remember?

Wait, did you win or lose? I can't tell And my best game is one I vaguely remember, a game against my cousin, Army/Navy. The score was massive and I won by probably less than a TD.

I have had quite a few... and it's awkward that this is brought up now since I think my game online last night takes the cake. Ok, so I'm playing this guy who has Rutgers, I'm Penn State... he has been killing me the entire game. I can't find a way to stop him, i'm trying everything, and I can't get moving on offense. With about 3 minutes left in the fourth quarter he puts up yet another touchdown and I think that the game is finished... 28-7 I have no shot to come back... wow... just wow... The next drive, I'm frustrated... and I think, hell lets just run the ball and end this shit, so go figure, I break through the middle of the line and take it about 75 yards with Austin Scott for a touchdown. I was like... cool lol. I kick off, and on the first set of downs... I intercept the ball and return it to the ten yard line. Next play, Austin Scott again with a touchdown. Now with about a minute and a half left. 28-21 him. I kick off to him, he begins a drive and I burn all three timeouts. He punts to me with 50 seconds remaining. Anthony Morelli, every throw is towards the sideline... then sure enough Derrick Williams breaks one with his speed and gets a 40 yard touchdown, tie game. Still 25 seconds left... I squib it and he gets a great return to my 40. Gets a couple more yards and calls a timeout with 2 seconds left. 45 yard fg... I can do nothing but sit there and pray lol... he kicks it... it looks good... and just pulls wide right lol. Overtime I win the toss, choose defense. A quick three and out. I'm thinking, awesome now all I need is a touchdown after this... .. until I block the kick that is. I just about shit myself.. I have never ever ever blocked a kick... and it wasn't cheating or anything, just amazing penetration I go on, run the ball, kick the field goal for the win. The block was by far the coolest part ever lol. Although the three touchdowns in three minutes was quite interesting too. Fun stuff, I loved it.

this was 4 years ago, on NCAA '04, like my 4th game ever online
i was FSU, the Chris Rix days, and the guy i was playing was Maryland
he was up like 35-17 going into the 4th quarter, and i figured i was going to lose, so he and i were just chattin, developing a pretty nice little friendship (awww) and somehow i was doing better cuz i wasn't concentrating (or he was doing worse cuz HE wasn't concentrating)
anyway, the score was 35-33 with under a minute to go, i went for two, got it to tie the game, and then on the ensuing kickoff, he took it back to like his own 45
then he ran two plays, got inside the 40 yard line, called a timeout, kicked the game winning field goal and walked away with a win
we had two other games very similar to that, i won those, however, and we've had a good rivalry ever since
but, sadly last year my online broke and i never played NCAA online again, until this year that is

Mine comes from this weekend playing default heisman sliders against my cousin. I was Nevada and he was some other crappy team I can't remember who it was (I might go check later because I saved a couple of replays from our games, we played about 10 games this weekend) and after accidentally quitting our game before (It was UF vs Wisconsin and I was winning I was and idiot and hit the quit button though)
We started a new game. Our UF game was a Defensive battle so I thought we would have another one of those, but the first half ended 14-21 him with the lead. I put my Corner in at QB early in the 2nd Quarter because my QB couldn't do anything so I tried to run the option but I fumbled it and he got the lead.
The last half was full of INT's and my running back completely dominating his defense, but my Quaterback would suck or I would be stopped short. I eventually got a TD run in late in the 4th to tie it up. I tried a squib quick but it didn't work. He drove and had about a 43 yarder from the right hash. He messed up though and bounced it off the uprights.
OT. Now this was fun. I got the ball first and threw a pick on 3rd and 8. Now my cousin was trying to rub it in, so he was going to get close and kick the field goal instead of just putting it up. Well, Karma came back and he fumbled it on the first play and I picked it up
2 OT. I got a pick on 2nd down and got tackled right after I caught it. Well I decided to rub it in and on 2nd and goal on the one I ran an option play and ran over another guy with my running back to get into the endzone. Game Over 27-21. Not only the greatest game but the funnest I have ever played.

I just played a damn good game in my Ole Miss dynasty. (2-2) Ole Miss was hosting (2-1) South Carolina on a sloppy field. It was a turnover fest (which is why I think the game rating was so low), with South Carolina turning it over 3 times and Ole Miss turning it over seven times (five fumbles, all in the second half).
The first half was all Rebels, with us scoring on a WR sweep and a triple option to the fullback. We pounded the cocks on defense, holding their "o" to just 14 yards the entire half. Things changed in the second half, and the cocks offense exploded. Erm...I just said that for the pun. They capitalized on five Rebel fumbles to score two touchdowns. Anyway, after a missed field goal and not having a timeout to kick another one as time ran out, we went to overtime.
We won the toss and chose to defend. First play from scrimage, they run a draw that goes for 15 yards. The Rebel defense stiffened up for the cocks, which left them with 3rd and Goal from the ten. I pulled into a Cover 3 (3-2-6 Dime) and they went for the endzone. My imact safety makes the interception in the endzone and runs it back 102 yards for the win! Yeah...I was pissed at the game for all the fumbles until then, but it made for an amazing finish.
Best game I've played since NCAA 2005.

My best game was accually my first in NCAA 08.
Season opener against MIzzou, I was the Fighting Illini.
The first half saw a highly underrated Fighting Illini team dominate the Missouri Tigers, 17-7, but from that point in team both teams would go on to score 75 total points. Missouri exploded out of the gate with 3 unanswered touchdowns to push the score to 28-17 in thier favor, however a late 3rd quarter touchdown left the Illini only 4 points down. A stout Illini defense forced 2 turnovers in the redzone in the fourth quarter, but the Missouri Tigers still managed to scored a touchdown and a fieldgoal to push thier lead to 38-24. Down 2 touchdowns and under 5 minutes to play, the Illini offense, lead by star Sophomore Quarterback Juice Williams manufactured a touchdown drive to draw the Illini within a touchdown.
The goal was simple for the Tigers, kill the clock. But the Illini defense would not allow that to happen, forcing a punt that sailed out on Illinios' 7 yard line with under 2 minutes to play. But in John Elway like fashion, Juice Williams lead his team from goal line to goal line, and with :05 seconds left to play, and 14 yards seperated the Illini from a touchdown. This was by far no easy feat.
Juice snaps the ball only to see the on coming blitz in his face, he rolls to his right and fires a bullet to highly touted Freshman Wide Out Aurelius Benn, who nabs the ball at the 5 yardline, but 2 defenders stood in the way, he is hit once but stays on his feet, literally carrying his defender towards the endzone, BAM a second hit sends Benn tumbling towards the endzone, Benn reaches out as the ball crosses the endzone to tie the game and send it to overtime.
First overtime sees a quick touchdown by the Tigers, but Illinois responds with one of thier own. Sending the game in double overtime, the Illini only manage a fieldgoal in thier offensive attempt, putting the pressure on it's defense. Which held wonderfully for the first two plays, but a blow coverage assignment allowed Missouri to walk into the endzone, giving the Tigers a 51 to 48 victory.
Coincidentally the Greatness score for the game was 1337. =)
