I started a running back campus legend with a fast little white guy scat back. I was a four star recruit and and signed to Penn State as a fourth string and 5 games into the season my 99 speeder is now a starter. Id have to admit this is the most addicting mode I've played which is odd because I've always hated campus legend and stuff.

my only issue is that if you practice every day your a starter by like the 3rd game when you started like 15 points behind the starter.

I only play the high school games. After that, I back out and go back to my dynasty.
I'm not much for single player modes.

even though i don't have 08, in 07 I love to play as a defensive back. It is really challenging and I've learned how to cover better than the computer. It takes some time to get used to it and good at it, but it's fun to work on. Plus I love the words..."user interception".

They don't...
It's just the names of real towns in there.

They just use the uniform combinations that you don't choose for your guy.

Well in the 4 games I played, I played 4 schools with accurate color combinations... I remember 8-10 color combinations possibilities (if it's 16, then you could be right)... therefore the odds of 4 schools being accurate on my roll through the playoffs was 1 in 4000 to 10000, if 16 combos - then 1 in 65k...
therefore, it's pretty safe to say they are patterned after the real school... at least for texas they are

They don't even have actual high schools (I think DB told me Detroit High was fictional), so colors would be out of the question.

Well as I said - I saw what I saw.... maybe it's Texas only. 15 of the 16 HS's were either a legit name, or one was Southlake for Southlake Carroll HS, and yes, they were green and white. There was no SA high, Dallas high, etc... all reasonably big time/playoff tradition teams from all levels. As I said before, look at the math...
The only one of the 16 in my bracket not legit was West Odessa which I interpret as Odessa Permian (as opposed to Odessa HS), and yes, they were black and white (as most of y'all should know). Someone can count the color options for me... I remember ~10, and as I said, the odds of the four HS's coincidentally lining up correctly was 1 in 10000.

I seriously doubt EA would take the time to get so detail oriented that they got the name and color combinations correct for only Texas high schools. Heck, they even messed up on a few college jerseys.
