Where is this? I specifically remember this being a big new feature? Where's it gone? Is it just for current-gen (aka PS2)

EA would not be adding things exclusively for last-gen systesm rgiht now. If anything, they're taking away features.

Actually, it is exclusively last-gen, just like summer drills. Which is a dissapointment with all of the injuries in 08.
