Get ready for a bunch of whiny "Fire Lloyd Carr" posts. From who? unless everybody came back from leaving or inactivity or whatever then I'm the only Michigan fan on this board. And it's going to be interesting seeing Brian Hoyer, Anthony Morelli, and Tyler Donovan operating out of the spread offense I guess Maize doesn't exist anymore then? |

Michigan State doesn't have the spread offense anymore. Balanced run which allows the play action to open up.

I don't know what to say. I couldn't watch the game on TV, and was getting my radio installed at Circuit City. I sat and watched the last five minutes, with swarms of men pricing TV's with jaws dropped. I give all the credit in the world to App. State. They played a hell of a game, but Michigan and their play calling lost this game. Special teams as well, I knew would be a struggle all year, definately hurt us. I feel like crying, we just threw away a season that could have been magical. But it is one of the most exciting finishes I have ever seen, so its got that going for itself. ESPN Instant Classic, no doubt.

I'm glad to see App State do it - that's all my dad's area so I'm relatively familiar with them...
the DTV thing - it'll be even better when they provide all of them in HD in the next few weeks.... Thursday night, I went through and counted - I had... I wanna say 26... different football games on at one time.... 4 or 5 HS games, a lot of college... plus a good chunk of the nfl preseason games... was pretty cool.

Yeah, besides the effect bad weather may have on it here and there, I am in love with DTV. Especially the Sunday Ticket, we get it every year now and I love it.

Notre Dame just got the royal shit beat out of them. 33-3. -9 yards rushing while GT put up 260+ on the ground.

Well...I think I was wrong about the UM game. That's an epic upset, I'm sad I couldn't see it. I'm sitting back watching the KSU/Auburn game after enjoying a few Shiner Bocks and pizza during a nailbiter win for my Rebels.
Alabama is doing halfway well against Western Carolina though, I can't exactly watch it sadly. Next week though, I'll probably catch it unless the Ole Miss kick is at 11:30.

Yeah, it's going to be rough next week. Memphis burned us in the second half with that spread offense, and we weren't playing Chase Daniel today. They haven't announced the time yet, but I've heard 5:30 bounced around so it sounds good bearcat. I'm looking forward to my first home game as a college student though. Oh and david, if you want making out....come over to my dorm room big guy.  *erm......I mean that as hetero....aww screw it it's funny* |

We won 40-34, but it wasn't as close as the score indicates. Mizzou forced five turnovers, and we turned the ball over twice deep in our own territory. We also held the Illini, who has the best returning rushing attack in the Big10, to just over 100 yards.
Daniel's stat line was 37-54 for 360 yards and 3 TD's.
