In NCAA 08 what do the FCS teams represent? For instance what is FCS West? Do they correspond to specific teams or are they just random crappy players?

1-AA teams that aren't in the game. EA puts out four generic teams and when a school like Florida, for reasons unknown, plays a school like Western Carolina, they will put 1-AA South in there to take the beating if they don't have that specific 1-AA school in the game. In the 360 version, there are no 1-AA teams, so all of the games that the big boys play against the minnows are against those FCS West fellows. All of the players are random crappy players.

FCS West = 1AA West in past games and etc. and everything else Usma said.
