LSU should just be ready for October 6th since they are already crowning themselves National Champs. I believe last year Tim Tebow scored three TDs against them as a true freshman against such a fantastic defense last year that they had. Now our defense is nowhere near what it was last season, but Jeff should know we will always be a threat to them. Unfortunately, this game will be in Baton Rouge and I would like to see what Tebow does passing wise against Tennessee this week. But it's still way too early in the year to be boasting about anyone.

One word sums up the first two weeks of the college football season:
Parity.
It's taking over. You can still tell who the more talented teams are, but as far as athleticism, even the lower mid-tier teams have a lot of athleticism at ALL positions. You might not have a talented team, but you can go up against the more talented teams if you have some great athletes, which most smaller schools have now.
It's why the NFL is the best pro sports league going right now.

I understand that but I was also thinking USC's other national championship, whether he believes it counts or not and the fact that USC has been in three national championships in the past five years and were even considered national champs in 2002 but by very unimportant media outlets who seem to have some say in 1-A champions (http://www.ncaa.org/champadmin/ia_football_past_champs.html). That isn't true. If michigan would have won the rose bowl that year they would not have been named national champs. USC has played in two national title games and won once. Therefore they have one national title. What is so hard to understand about this? I'll be cheering and laughing at yall when LSU raises the crystal football this season.

This inferiority complex that LSU fans have towards USC is hilarious. After living in Baton Rouge, tell me about it. It's funny, USC is probably their second biggest rival in the mind of the fans. Well at least the so called "rantards" (Jeff will understand) think they are. The LSU fans are nuts, but most are good people though.

I like that one... I'll use it on the Michigan front-runners at my school in addition to the additional cracks I've made at them...
