Thanks for taking the time then. Who are you a fan of this year? Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, or still USC? Just curious. Haha burn.

Michigan game is on TV so I prolly won't be here taking all the flak if we're getting killed, but I think Mike Hart'll be bottled up for the first half until the defense gets a little tired, and those 1 and 2 yard gains will turn into 5-6 yard gains. It'll be a tight fought game until the 4th where one team will pull ahead. My keys to the game:
For Penn State:
Derrick Williams getting isolated one on one with Donovan Warren, who is a suspectible tackler in space (as with the rest of the defense). Warren is a true freshman who has good speed and can keep up with Williams, but he's skinny as hell. If PSU gets Williams a couple bubble screeens or 1 on 1 passes downfield, he can break tackles and go the distance.
Great special teams play. A.J. Wallace is one of the people who are scaring me shitless in this game lol. Michigan's special teams is down this year and Wallace is a big time gamer. If Michigan plays like they did in the first three games and don't break down on tackles, Penn State could be averaging their starting drive position at about the 40 yard line. Derrick Williams is amazing too, already with a 75 yard punt return on the season. 4th downs are going to be as important and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for Michigan today.
Protect Anthony Morelli. Senior Guard Jim Shaw isn't starting, and true freshman Stefen Wisniewski is starting in his place. In my talks with the many Penn State fans they aren't expecting too much of a regression at that position, but I think it could be a slight advantage for the Wolverines. A.J. Shipley at center is one of the best in the Big Ten, but the tackles for PSU are good, but not great and so Michigan could get a fair amount of pressure on Morelli. The issue is, whether PSU will go into quick 3 step drops that will allow Morelli to get the ball out of his hands and into his' playmakers, or if they go with 5 and 7 step drops which increases the chances of a sack. Last year Morelli was having a good game, ( 11-18 for 134 yards) before he got hurt, and so he should have plenty of confidence coming into this one. If Brandon Graham and Tim Jamison can get some pressure on Morelli, Michigan'll have a shot in this game.
For Michigan:
For the love of god, stop with the friggin' FB Shuffle Zone Run. We have the Weak-I formation where the football shuffles to either the left or the right right before the play. We have run this play 34 times this season, and we have run in the direction of the FB Shuffle, all 34 times. Please stop with this predictable BS. Against ND in a set where they had 7 in the box already, the FB Shuffled and BOTH safeties came up. Granted we got 5 yards because ND sucks, but against PSU that'll be a 1 or no yard gain.
Call better play action passes. I've watched Michigan football for about 7 years now, and back when I didn't know anything about football I still knew Michigan's playbook. We have so many wack plays it's not even funny. I've never seen a playaction pass with 9 blockers, and 1 WR running a streak, but Michigan does it. And the PA pass with the TE dump-off, that's been run in the 1st or 2nd drive in 11 straight games. I'm susprised our offense even works, with how friggin predictable we are. If I'm at home watching it on the TV and by seeing the formation I can call out every single route for that particular play, PSU will have it shut down.
As I read this over, I can see it's turning from a prediction of the game into a rant of me talking about how crappy Michigan is, I'll just stop and say I think it'll be a close game, if we get to Morelli and we stop with the predictable garbage, then we can win by a score of 20-17. However, if we keep our FB shuffles, and have our DBs get burnt silly and have our LBs not tackle at all this could be a long game. I think Michigan'll win this game (waits for the homer call), but it'll be if we execute perfectly. Otherwise Penn State will win, and they might even win big.

College Gameday this morning. MSU has #1 pass rush in the nation right now. We have Jonal Saint-Dic on the line and he has been an absolute monster the last two weeks as well as Ervin Baldwin. The more I think about the game and everything it means, the more I think that MSU will win. - Revenge From Last Year
- Jabba the Hut (Weis) never shutting up
- The fact that ND truly sucks
- Coaching Staff That Isn't Stupid
- More Discipline
Bdes, I will not be shocked if you guys win. Really, I hate the fact that you have lost all three of your games, and you come back to your place for a rivalry. Really, it's going to be an ugly game. I'm changing my score. MSU- 27 ND- 17 MSU prevails despite Front-Butt (Weis again) changing everything this week.

When talking about Charlie Weis, I prefer to refer to him as "The Skipper" and Jimmy Clausen as Gilligan

Your RBs will combine for 300+ and with that ball control I think you should win by 14+. Also I keep seeing people giving the Irish 17, and 20 points. Is your defense bad or something?

Ole Miss held its own against UF in the first half....I don't see it lasting, but...
Also, Louisville has it back down to one TD.

Ole Miss held its own against UF in the first half....I don't see it lasting, but... They were getting so many calls their way, and they were playing on pure adrenaline. Had to come to an end some time, unfortunately. EDIT: And Cuse is up 2 TDs now, not one.

Nebraska's loss to USC must have been a precursor to something....they're losing to Ball State right now.
...I need something to do until the games worth watching start at 3:30

Well, if Nebraska loses, there goes ANY chance that ESPN would come to Columbia for Gameday. A loss will take some of the luster off the Mizzou-Nebraska matchup in two weeks.
That said, I'm smiling inside. ;D

Everyone hear that sound?
That's the entire population of Nebraska getting their big heads popped by a pin.
Sucks for the Big 12 (again), but it's f'in hilarious watching this team implode.
