Up 17-7 on Purdue, they've fumbled three times and we scored on all 3 fumbles. They just fumbled the kickoff but recovered it. It would be 17-0, but Chad Henne has the worst pocket awareness in the world and so he fumbled at our own 5 yard line.

How can you be excited to play Kent State? I don't know about you but I rather watch a hard fought win then a stat pad fest against a MAC team, no offense to Kent State, because they are making strides.

Iowa is beating us right now, even though the score is 3-3, hopefully we can come out slinging in the second half.

It's called non-conference games, and each team in the Big Ten has to play one each week because we have 11 teams. I'm excited to see the hits we are going to have.

Didn't miss what you said but there are plently better teams out of the Big Ten to play other than Kent State.

I'm not stupid I know how college Football works, all big schools schedule smaller schools every year to make thier stats/record look better, unfortunately for some schools (Michigan for example) it backfires.

31-7 at the half, other then the TD when they started at our 5 yard line Purdue has been shut down. Ron English has been able to show that he can atleast copy OSU's defensive schemes, and Mike Debord has finally figured out what a play action pass is. Bad news is Hart is hurt, collapsed when he came off the field. He had like a bajillion trainers trying to fix him up. He had 21 carries for 102 and 2 TDs in the first half.

What you said made it sound like you were trying to say that I meant that I enjoyed stat-padding blowouts, at least that's what I got from reading it.

And it's also funny that you should say that considering you are facing a MAC team in two weeks.

Also, how is Illinois looking this week? I've been telling everyone that they are overrated as they come, and I just want to know how they look to prove my point.

Well, by "head smacking from our top-ranked scoring defense" it was me meaning that I wanted to see some hard hits from our top-ranked scoring defense, just wanted to reitirate the we are the top ranked scoring defense to Jeff.

But, I can understand why he thought I said that.

Ron Zook wants to lose. How do you accept 2 penalties that if you decline puts Iowa on 4th down? Of course both come back and turn into huge plays.

Iowa takes down Illinois, Illinois had plently of chances to win the game, namely at the end but an interception in the endzone, and the 83 yard touchdown called back because of illegal man down field.

Good ole Lloyd Carr. Won't hire a Special Teams Coach because he thinks we don't need one, and he doesn't care about the score as long as its a win. The result: 3 onside kicks (recovered by Purdue) in the 4th, turning a 48-7 game with 3 minutes left to a 48-21 final.
