And Ohio State has played less than nobody. Yeah, but we have handled our business against our less than nobody's. You guys lost to App, and you barely beat Northwestern, and barely beat an absolutely terrible Eastern Michigan team.

I didn't get to watch the game so I couldn't tell you what happened. I'll tell you this much, your tight end dropped a pass in the endzone when he was wide-open that would've put the game away.

If MSU beats OSU this week, the #1 spot is cursed.

At least they've looked good against their nobodies, winning every game by more than 2 TDs and only giving up more than 7 points once (14 at Washington).
BC has given up at least 10 points in every game and only beat UMass by ten.

Yes, I honestly agree with the standings for the top 10 almost 100% for the first time in my entire life...
My only questioning is the number one position. Ohio State and South Florida... and honestly, it doesn't really matter at this point anyway.
By how it has been so far this season I really feel like South Florida should be number one. They took down West Virginia and Auburn. Although Ohio State may actually be the better team AT THIS VERY POINT IN TIME South Florida in my eyes is the number one team. They are the team that hasn't been beat that has taken down big name teams.
(Don't take this the wrong way. I do think Ohio State would beat South Florida)

I don't know how USF will finish the season, but I think regardless of what they do, Jim Leavitt is a damn fine coach. I wish we could have him back here at his alma mater, but it wouldn't be as a HC, only a coordinator. I just can't see him leaving the fertile recruiting grounds in Florida, and he's basically built that program from the ground up.
With the kind of season we're having, there's only a few teams that are a cut above, and the rest are well....even. Beyond LSU, OSU, and maybe Oklahoma, there's just not a lot of difference between teams. I think USF is a talented team no doubt, and I think they'll be at the very least in the thick of the Big East race, and in the NC race as well. This just seems like a year where one or maybe both teams in the NC game aren't the usual suspects.

That still doesn't hide the fact that you've played nobody. You can only handle your business against who's on your schedule. And don't give me any "Then schedule better teams" B.S. because Washington was a national power when we scheduled them 10 or so odd years ago, and we had a team back out of our opener a few years ago for 2007 so we had to fill it with YSU.

Just ask any Michigan fan to spell Appalachian when they get on your case like this.

I honestly don't blame them for it.
Why would you schedule Hawai'i (or Boise for that matter)? They're trap games waiting to happen.

I was cracking up earlier because I was thinking, Spartan would have HELLUVA lot more time on his hands if the University of Michigan didn't exist.

Are we completely sure that Spartan wasn't brought up being told to just hate Michigan and since Michigan State is the opposite, he just cheers for them?

You guys lost to App, and you barely beat Northwestern, and barely beat an absolutely terrible Eastern Michigan team. It's because of the coaching. Lloyd is renown for playing down to his competition. In all 3 games, he thought the other team was overmatched so he did the same stupid BS that he always does, and it got stopped. He also did it against PSU, which confused me. For some reason he thought Purdue was a challenge, and so opened up the playbook, and we put 48 on them. (Also Henne was injured for PSU so they had to dumb down the playbook)

A new head coach is exactly what you guys need, but the way Michigan is going now Lloyd might be back for another go 'round.
