Well the Wolverines got Wisconsin which we should win easily if we had a smart offensive cordinator. However, we got that dumb patethic person you call Mike Debord and so he'll make the game closer then it should be. A loss will cause me to accept that we're going down to OSU again, like that's news, but hopefully they prove me wrong.

OSU better not be looking ahead past Illinois tomorrow. I know Sportsbuck will hate me for saying that but it's a damn good possibility if they are looking towards UM.
MSU has Purdue. I'm not looking for a win tomorrow. I think Painter is going to tear our secondary apart. I think it will be a shootout and it will come down to who can stop who when it matters. But I like our chances more against PSU in Week 12 than I do tomorrow. But hopefully a win tomorrow, then we'll have the necessary 6.

OSU better not be looking ahead past Illinois tomorrow. I know Sportsbuck will hate me for saying that but it's a damn good possibility if they are looking towards UM. Doubt it. We looked past them last year and barely escaped with a 17-10 win, and Tressel will remind them of that, and the fact that the Zooker recruited 20 of Florida's 22 starters from the BCS title game. Sure enough, UM is having trouble vs Wisconsin. It's 17-7 now and Tyler Donavon is playing great. But nothing would please me more than a UM loss today. After all the experts got their boners back for them saying they are back when their best opponent has been MSU who is 5-5 and all the talk of a possible B10 championship. Shut up and worry about Wisconsin.
MSU is up on Purdon't 21-14 last I know. It's on the BTN so I can't watch.

Well I think we would pass other two Big Ten teams if we finish 6-6. I think we would pass Indiana and NW who are also 6-5. Reasoning? We beat Indiana by a lot. We lost to NW, but it was in OT, and Northwestern played a crap schedule all the way through. We had one of the toughest schedules in the country coming into the season. We sit at 6-5, and have a very good shot to beat PSU next weekend at home. We also have not lost by more than 7 points all year. We played OSU and Wisconsin to the final minutes on the road and lost to UM in the 4th quarter. Not bad for a top 5 schedule. Also, we are shooting for the Motor City Bowl. This means MSU vs CMU. Former MSU coach George Perles is on the staff for this bowl game. Believe me, he will not let them pick NW or IU over MSU without a fight. MSU and CMU would bring great ticket sales to the MCB and would be a great game. I think there are a lot of things going in our favor even if we finish 6-6. But hell DB, let's go for 7-5! And if for some reason we do go 6-6 and get left out, isn't it nice to at least be eligible?!  EDIT: If UM beats OSU, it really helps our chances. OSU gets at large while UM gets BCS. That means everyone moves up a slot. But that doesn't mean I like that scenario. |
