This would be more fun if there were a vocal Notre Dame fan on here.

Woah woah wait till next year Yeah, maybe you'll win 4 next year. Woo-hoo! No we will be in a bowl. We have a pretty easy schedule compared to the usual. We got: SDSU, Stanford, UNC, Pitt Washington, Navy, Syracuse - easy 7 wins.

Well I guess you could call me a closet ND fan as they were the first college team I ever paid attention to after watching Rudy albeit (amazing movie). Although recently I have seen the light about why people hate ND its cause even when they suck they still get a bajillion dollars from NBC. That pisses me off.

I get that a lot but never here in Indiana. In Indy besides a few everyone is a ND fan. I've heard it I were to go out west wearing my Darius Walker jersey... I'd get pissed on.

ND will be just as bad next year. Count on it.
Clausen will be the most overrated recruit in awhile.

Not to mention that Charlie can recruit, but he has no idea what integrity means or what a diet is.
And bdes, your schedule isn't so easy. Washington with a healthy Jake Locker will beat you, as will a Pitt squad with a year of experience. UNC could also take you down.

Well, I guess Notre Dame does have a bowl game after all. They've got 12 guys in the Army All-American Bowl, so I guess that counts.

What makes Navy an easy win next year when you lost to them this year?

What makes Navy an easy win next year when you lost to them this year? The fact that we will have a offense that can maybe score some touchdowns.

um didn't you put up like 40+ points that game? Seems the offense was fine. Maybe its your O-Lineman speed corners that are bringing you down. I dont know maybe the lack of a defensive player with a heartbeat could be detrimental to a team. But I'm not expert.

But I doubt anyone here really watched the last few games but Charlie Weis didn't give any trust to either quarterback. Most of the completions were all screens or short passes to the Runningback.

The thing with Charlie is really sort of emotional. Gameplans and recruiting can only get you so far. Your players need to be willing to go to the ends of the earth for you because they know that you care about them not only as a football player, but as a person. Weis is stuck in the NFL state of mind of only caring about them as a football player, and forgets that these are 18, 19 year old kids dealing with all sorts of pressure. The best coaches are the ones that let their players know that they care about them.

He is one hell of a recruiter but after he starts to get a connection with his players in a way Lou Holtz did I think he can go down as one of the greats. For instance when we lost Brady I noticed that we weren't going to have a quarterback next year. He should of gave Demetrius Jones (now a transfer) or Evan Sharpley some snaps so we had sort of a backup plan.
