Yeah, go ahead and do that. I said they'd come back, I didn't say they'd win. Coming back and making it a game and winning it are two different things. If you never take the lead or at least tie, then you didn't "come back." Don't worry, most of us are wrong at some point. |

Yeah, go ahead and do that. I said they'd come back, I didn't say they'd win. Coming back and making it a game and winning it are two different things. If you never take the lead or at least tie, then you didn't "come back." Comeback- The act of making up a deficit, as in a contest or game. Doesn't say anything about having to take the lead or tie it. You can come back and not take the lead and not tie. And notice I said "They are about to come back", not "They are about to come back and win or tie this". I never thought I'd get into an argument over grammar on the internet. |
