Greatest Moment of 2007

This has been the craziest season ever, by far, and it's been filled with a helluva lot of excellent moments.

What do you tihnk is the greatest one?

In my mind, quite easily, it was when Cory Lynch blocked the field goal against Michigan, and started the madness that is the 2007 season.

Oh, you're talking about football? Then I would have to go with listening to Army get a last-second Hail Mary TD to tie Tulane, going outside to scream and jump for joy since my parents were asleep, and locking myself out of the house. But that's a more personal moment.

I'm going to go ahead and say it hasn't happened yet. Considering I pull for Alabama and Ole Miss, don't got much to be happy about this year. I guess Matt Caddell's catch against the Sauce was fun and what not, but from there it has been a constant stream of shit from my two teams.

So I'm hoping some sort of horrible crushing event happens to deny LSU of the MNC and that'll probably be my moment of the year.

I loved the Appalachian State/ Michigan ending. I lol'd when the Appy State announcers were screamin their asses off when they blocked the final field goal.

Aside from that, I also enjoyed watchin USF becomin the number 2 team in the Nation and the Arkansas/LSU game that went into OT.

As painful as it was, the App. State game was historical. And it did prove to be the beginning of the end. Plus watching the Pac-10 was good this year. Between Cal. early, Oregon and Arizona State for a while, then USC ofcourse, good year out there. And South Florida's ride, even the loss to Rutgers (great game!)

I think the Stanford/USC upset was bigger than Appy State personally. Mainly because USC > Michigan and Appy State > Stanford. Then you hear that story about the Stanford WR who made the catch to beat the Trojans and yeah, it's my biggest moment so far.

Appy State blocked kick in the Big House
LSU pass with 0:01 to Byrd to beat Auburn (and get them to the MNC)
Georgia proved Hawaii doesn't need to play with the big boys

Stanford was the bigger upset, but that blocked field goal was the greatest moment without question. Nothing else comes close. There shouldn't be anything else mentioned in this thread.

Appalaichan State was the biggest upset of all-time, I don't understand what makes Stanford better than it. Yes, I agree that it is a top-5 upset all-time, but nothing touches the App St. game in my mind.

That's because Appy State would probably beat Stanford and Michigan isn't as good as USC. The Stanford upset was bigger IMO.

Oh and I'd agree the blocked kick as a bigger "moment" but the bigger game for me was Stanford over USC.
