A while back when Michigan and Notre Dame were trying to renew their contract, there was an impasse. On the day of the impasse Notre Dame announced a Home and Home with Oklahoma and Michigan announced a Home and Home with Alabama, then the next day Michigan and Notre Dame signed the extension... So Bama, do you know anything about Michigan and Alabama playing in a few years or maybe it was just a hoax to try and get Notre Dame to agree to a series extension with us. And to make this thread worthwhile, what big time teams is your team going to be playing in the future. And Sportsbuck we already know about OSU v USC and Tressell not being no punk and scheduling big teams so no need for hearing that

We should just make a sub board devoted to all things involving Michigan or Ohio State.

Might be replacing somebody next year with Oregon State. Just for you Chis, I won't mention OSU v USC. (But I will mention future games with Miami, Cal, VT, and Oklahoma)

That future home and home with Louisville was looking really good last year.
We do play Arizona State next year in Tempe though. That should be good.

It would be very interesting to see that game, Bama. I don't know what Michigan's future schedule looks like - anyone remember the website (posted here a while ago) that gave the future non-conference schedules for college football....

Thank God we cancelled that 09-10 "Home" and home with Ohio State. We would have completely screwed up. We play Notre Dame in '09... when they get good again... ugh.

A&M plays Miami next year alongside their tough big XII games but i think we might also sign some kind of deal with arkansas to play them for a couple of years in the Cowboys' new stadium.

I know Alabama opens their season against Clemson in Atlanta next season. That should be a pretty interesting game...

Michigan State opens the year with Cal on the road and Florida Atlantic and I'm not sure who else.

Michigan State opens the year with Cal on the road and Florida Atlantic and I'm not sure who else. Those are both going to be tough games. But I think MSU is going to be pretty good next year, I just have a feeling. They finally have a coach that I can see giving them a shot at the B10 title. Maybe not next year, but in the near future.

I think it depends.
If Thomas comes back, we will have a good offense. But if he goes, we need a sophomore and a freshman WR to step up big time.
Ringer will be back, but Jehuu will be a big loss. We are pretty deep in the backfield though.
Lots and lots of DB's coming in so the secondary should be improved. Linebacking will be solid with Freshman AA Greg Jones having a year under his belt now. As well as Misch and Gordon.
The line could be great, but there is a lot of youth. Two monsters in Jeremiah and Michael Jordan next year, bring great size.
We have the ability to win 8 and have a winning record in the Big Ten next year, but we need to stop shooting ourselves in the foot.
Hoyer also has to cut down on his mistakes.

Spartan, is that beastly DE that led the Big Ten in sacks (and was suspended for the bowl game) coming back, or was he a senior?
