Either opens the door for Pryor, or it gives Michigan only one scholarship quarterback next year if Pryor picks tOSU. Either way, next year will be a bumpy ride for UM.

RR's game just got a helluva lot more dangerous. He could lose out on Pryor in addition to having Mallett transfer. Kind of like the mistress you've been sleeping with deciding that she can't be with you after you cheated on your wife.

Sidenote: The scholarship QB's at 1 is because "With that, a source close to the team has said that if Loeffler leaves, Steve Threet and David Cone are gone."

Also, FWIW, a source is saying that the veteran UM receivers (Manningham and Arrington) do not plan on returning because RR did not retain the right coaches.

When a reporter told the receiver he seemed to be joking, Manningham stood by what he said.

Eh, it just seems like speculation at this point. Honestly, I'll treat it like any other rumor: i'll believe it when I see it. Still, its hard enough being a Michigan fan during the season, I'm glad I haven't paid a ton of attention to what's been going on other than just the hiring of RichRod. Whatever happens, happens.

I have a gut feeling that Pryor will not be going to OSU. I don't know why, and Sportsbuck I'm not just saying this.

I just think the door is wide open for him and he is going to be loved there like no other because he will be looked at like a savior. He will definitely have no problems starting and I'm sure they would love for him to play basketball there.

But something just tells me Pryor will pick Michigan. Especially with all the stuff between him and Dickrod.

Okay, your entitled to your opinion, but in the opinion of many recruiting analysts across the country, Pryor is a Buckeye lock.

Competition for playing time really isn't a factor, and if it is, I wish him good luck wherever he wants to go. No matter how talented the recruit is, if he can't stand a little competition than he can get the hell out of the kitchen for all I care.

If he comes to tOSU he'd probably be in a Tebow-like role as a freshman, then start as a sophomore. Antonio Henton (Our backup) is above average, but if Pryor even develops an average passing ability he will pass Henton in an instant.

Basketball, the edge goes to tOSU, by a VERY wide margin. He's stated that's one of the edges tOSU has, because we have an excellent program and if he plays b-ball wants to compete for titles.

And one thing he has complained about RR is that he doesn't like the man's ethics, particularly when he told him before he told his own WVU players that he's headed to UM.

I still see him in Buckeye silver and gray regardless. Michigan cannot match the comraderie he has with our current commits, and cannot match the charisma of Coach Tressel.

Well if he wants to play for a good amount of time freshman year, a Tebow-like role could be the thing that sends him to Michigan.

I can't trust recruiting people anymore. I'll say he's an OSU lock when he commits.

FWIW, he's said that a redshirt would probably be best for him, and wouldn't mind it, but would like to play as early as possible.

Lost in all the Pryor talk by you too is the fact that this has been proven false. UCLA says he is not transferring there, and Michigan hasn't recieved any transfer papers from him. It's always funny hearing about stuff, then it gets posted here on DC and is interpatated the wrong one.

Keep in mind that the Freep also says that Pryor will almost definitely go to Michigan should Mallett transfer.
